I love it, it’s my comfort. And, you get your regular vitamins and minerals with each servicing!
by Anonymous | reply 1 | July 30, 2019 1:06 AM |
Gee, Liz, can’t you wait three minutes for something to be done and to eat even here in heaven??
by Anonymous | reply 2 | July 30, 2019 1:06 AM |
I’m begging you to switch to Stouffer’s macaroni and cheese.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 30, 2019 1:11 AM |
OP, you’re obviously outside of your comfort zone. Practice mastering a PB&J before you attempt to boil water.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | July 30, 2019 1:13 AM |
Agree that Stouffer’s is amazing, especially with pepper on top.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 30, 2019 1:16 AM |
Use Annie's brand (Shells and White Cheddar), put frozen peas in with the pasta at the last minute. After the sauce packet etc. is mixed in, add a can of drained tuna.
This is actually good - for a non fancy dish. And it's good to know about if you ever have to cook for a child or a teen for a night.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 30, 2019 1:18 AM |
What’s for dessert OP? Jello? Canned peaches?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 30, 2019 1:37 AM |
Pop Tarts, r8. They're kind of complicated too.
OP
by Anonymous | reply 9 | July 30, 2019 1:58 AM |
Make a shit-ton of it in your Canadian appliance, the InstaPot.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 30, 2019 2:00 AM |
I finally tried Stouffer's mac and cheese and was hoping to love it like other people do. I was disappointed. The Stouffer spinach souffle is supposed to be good as well, so maybe I'll try that one.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 30, 2019 2:19 AM |
The trick is to spray the pan with oil before mixing in the cheese, so binning it is easier.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 30, 2019 2:22 AM |
Add A1 sauce. Sooo good.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 30, 2019 2:25 AM |
This is probably the most déclassé DL thread I have ever read! MARY!!!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 30, 2019 2:27 AM |
Annie's is great, R6. I add the flavor packet from Korean spicy ramen noodles to mine, and a cut-up hotdog. I know that's horrifying to some of you, but it's good!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 30, 2019 2:33 AM |
"Race to the bottom" is a favourite motto, r14.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 30, 2019 2:43 AM |
Easy. Ignore the directions on the package.
Salt the water. Boil macaroni for 7 minutes. Test if macaroni is al dente. If so, drain pasta. Add pasta back to pot. Two tablespoons butter, stir it in, let it melt. Add the cheese. Add a little bit of milk. Maybe like just a double shot glass full of milk? Stir. Eat directly out of the pot.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 30, 2019 2:45 AM |
[quote]Test if macaroni is al dente.
Is this where you throw a few pieces on the wall to see if they stick, r17?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 30, 2019 2:53 AM |
I add salsa
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 30, 2019 2:54 AM |
Just 20 posts and I haven't laughed so much in years!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 30, 2019 3:00 AM |
That's good advice, r17.
Now, add chopped pan-fried ham steak sauteed with baby green peas.
Top it with some breadcrumbs, or even better, panko breadcrumbs, mixed with parmesan.
Bake that at 350 til the panko is golden brown.
Pull it from the oven and top with fresh motherfucking thyme.
Then throw the whole thing in the garbage and buy yourself a Stouffers.

Someone told me he puts tomatoes in his Kraft dinner.
OP
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 30, 2019 3:09 AM |
Add a bit of curry sauce. So good.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 30, 2019 3:13 AM |
Once again, like the other Thread on salad, the dish is improved by a “man made” creamy additive. Enjoy!
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 30, 2019 3:15 AM |
It sucks. I always found it congealed and got nasty. I prefer Amy's pasta
by Anonymous | reply 26 | July 30, 2019 3:15 AM |
They changed the formula to make it more natural.... and I think it's better than ever. I love it!
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 30, 2019 3:16 AM |
Whatever you do OP, DO NOT drain the pasta.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 30, 2019 3:16 AM |
If the end product does not result in a Yum Yum face, you’ve failed.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 30, 2019 3:20 AM |
Growing up, we had Kraft macaroni and cheese and fish sticks every Friday for dinner. Happy, simple times.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 30, 2019 3:37 AM |
Fish sticks, r30? That sounds really complicated.
OP
by Anonymous | reply 32 | July 30, 2019 4:01 AM |
I make mine in the microwave and add tuna to it
by Anonymous | reply 33 | July 30, 2019 4:04 AM |
We used to have a big fish stick served in a hot dog bun at my high school cafeteria every other Friday. I found this delicious and would eat two of them. Ain't nothing wrong with a quality fish stick!
by Anonymous | reply 34 | July 30, 2019 4:25 AM |
This is prison food. And what's weird about it is, it doesn't actually taste anything like cheese.
It just tastes ORANGE.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 30, 2019 4:36 AM |
Fuck Kraft up the ass.
You buy Aldi mac&cheese. You flollow directions, then add all of your bits of cheese - cream, sour, cottage, Swiss, and cheddar. Bake the shit out of it covered (leave plenty of space between cheese and foil, please).
It’s more about paying final respects to your cheese. And the ingredients change as your cheese needs change.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 30, 2019 4:46 AM |
If r36 had a cooking show I would watch it.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 30, 2019 4:55 AM |
Add chopped SPAM and you have a one dish wonder!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | July 30, 2019 5:00 AM |
I like the Kraft mac & cheese with the powdered cheese, I usually don't have milk in the house so instead I just use a little water.... still tastes the same.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | July 30, 2019 5:01 AM |
For years I cooked the Kraft, didn't add anything but the mix (no butter or milk) and then added a bag of frozen creamed spinach. It's looked horrible but it was heaven to eat.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | July 30, 2019 5:04 AM |
Was this thread inspired by a viewing of Once Upon a Time in America?
And RIP Auntie Fee. You motherfucking bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 30, 2019 5:06 AM |
Oh, safety tips for the drunks: you can use those hunks of cheese you bit out of and tossed in the fridge. You stick a fork in the chunk and hold it by the tines to grate it bloodlessly.
You’re welcome, you sick fucks.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | July 30, 2019 5:09 AM |
OP just vomit into a Dutch oven.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | July 30, 2019 5:16 AM |
Is the Stouffer's mac and cheese that everyone's raving about the frozen kind? It tastes more plastic than the Kraft dinner, and the consistency of the sauce is gross. Maybe it's better if you bake it rather than microwave it. I haven't tried that.
Make original flavor Kraft - the kind with the powder, not the kind with sauce already made - according to the directions. Add half a cup of sour cream, plenty of pepper (I like white pepper), and 1 cup of shredded cheddar, Mix till the cheese is melted. Dump in a greased 9" square baking dish.
Meanwhile, melt a tablespoon or two of butter in a small saucepan. Stir in a bunch of panko and mix it all up until the butter is fully absorbed and the panko is just barely starting to turn golden brown. Sprinkle it all over the top of the casserole.
Baked, uncovered, at 375 for 20-30 minutes. Delicious!
by Anonymous | reply 45 | July 30, 2019 5:59 AM |
You eat it like god intended, with a can of Chuckwagon Stew!
by Anonymous | reply 46 | July 30, 2019 6:11 AM |
Macaroni and cheese is gross. I hate cheesey and gloppy food.
Auntie Fee is gross too, she's profane and nasty in that common way. She's way too self-impressed. Is she dead?

The best under a buck meal you can buy!
by Anonymous | reply 48 | July 30, 2019 6:33 AM |
Im gonna try this Stouffer's mac and cheese when I decide to let myself go. I already know I would gain five pounds off of one serving.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | July 30, 2019 11:40 AM |
Why do Canookians call boxed Kraft Macaroni and Cheese --> "Kraft Dinner?"
Do they only eat it for dinner? If they love it so, is it possible some will have it for lunch ... or even breakfast?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | July 30, 2019 11:44 AM |
You dudes really need to learn how to make a simple roux/cheese sauce of your own. Using your own pasta, you can make a serious Mac n Cheese and leave that box shit behind for good.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | July 30, 2019 12:02 PM |
KD also affectionately called Krap Dinner in Canada, r52. KD can be eaten anytime. My neighbours (a couple) will re-heat it the following day and get a SECOND meal out of the small box.
OP

[quote]Do they only eat it for dinner? If they love it so, is it possible some will have it for lunch ...
Dinner is the afternoon meal (what you call lunch). Supper is the evening meal.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | July 30, 2019 2:27 PM |
Macaroni & Cheese was once only one of a number of Kraft Dinners.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | July 30, 2019 2:39 PM |
I accidentally purchased the whole wheat version once.
It was a horrible experience.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | July 30, 2019 2:47 PM |
I'm too lazy to do any of the prep for mac & cheese and I don't eat it that often.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | July 30, 2019 3:02 PM |
If you really think the instructions for making mac and cheese out of a box is too complicated, step away from the oven (and all sharp objects) and get yourself into a home for the hopelessly befuddled and let the 60 year old employees make it for you. Are you even potty-trained????
by Anonymous | reply 61 | July 30, 2019 3:13 PM |
You have to cook it?
by Anonymous | reply 62 | July 30, 2019 3:17 PM |
No, r62. Especially if you like your pasta al dente.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | July 30, 2019 3:34 PM |
Stouffer's had a goat cheese and asiago mac & cheese for a while that was great but I haven't seen it in months.
I tried a box of Annie's but there was absolutely NO sauce in it, it was dry and gritty.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | July 30, 2019 3:39 PM |
Put some dill-infused havarti cheese in that shit!
by Anonymous | reply 65 | July 30, 2019 3:43 PM |

This is a parody thread, R61, one of several. Another asks why cold cereal is so difficult to prepare.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | July 30, 2019 6:41 PM |
Ah jeez! Of course it is. Good one too. Although I haven't seen the 'cold cereal' one; that's pretty fucking funny. Thanks for setting me straight (as it were). ;-)
