I would have a hard time believing Johnny Depp's claims that he is the abused party in the divorce case with Vanessa Paradis, given his history of violence. He smashed up the room when he was there with Kate Moss, and it's often rumored in Hollywood he abused Winona Ryder, worsening her problems with mental illness. He is clearly someone who has a lot of problem with women and is violent towards them.

I'm pretty sure Johnny Depp identifies as a rock star.

Of course they have to pay for the damage. It's not a sensible thing to do, it's a wild and crazy thing to do, which is why it's fun.

I think you mean Amber Heard, not Vanessa Paradis, R1. To my knowledge, Paradis never accused Depp of domestic violence (and they weren't married). But I agree, looking at his history (and substance abuse problems) I doubt he's the innocent victim his fans portray him as.
