Before Bond, I found Daniel to be butt ugly, but like another poster said he brought fire to his scenes. The Bond crew seem to be very protective of the brand, since Daniel came on board, so I'm sure they will pick a man that gets the ladies and gays excited.

Tom Hardy always looks like he could use a shower. I know he comes from an affluent family, but he comes accross as crass and hicky. Cavill looks too gay to me, I can't imagine him flirting with a woman and her not bursting laughing. But I've never seen him act, so he could be a genius thespian...like.... In fact, I think a gay Bond is a bit like a female Bond - better off with their own new franchise, to avoid the fandom toxicity. Perhaps Chastain could introduce a gay spy (played by homo Edgar Ramirez or Sebastian Stan) in her upcoming '355' thriller and then feature him in the sequels/spinoffs if the movie is successful. I think that would be an enormous step forward. The masses won't go see a spy movie with a gay guy in the lead role. I'm sorry but it's the truth.

Dino Fetscher's ears stick out too much to be convincing as Bond. He needs to have them pinned if he's to stand any chance of ever playing this iconic character.

Okay, those Aidan Turner in the tux photos posted above look pretty good. I could only find the ones from And Then There Were None and I didn't think he looked good in that, too skinny and vulpine. He does have a nice voice. I think Tom Hardy would be excellent except he'd be a continuation of the Daniel Craig type of Bond and my guess is the producers want to switch it up.

Aidan Turner is gorgeous and sexy, but underneath it all he gives off a soft, bottomy vibe, even in his scenes with women. He wouldn't be the alpha sociopath type of Bond, like a Sean Connery. He'd be more like a Roger Moore type.

Tom Hardy is so fucking boring, it's hard to believe he gets work, or all the mentions from the DL Hardy queen set.

Aidan would make a great bond. The height thing can be fudged with Hollywood smoke and mirrors... and stacked heels. Bond has to be wildly charismatic. Everyone wants to be him and/or fuck him. Aidan has that kind of appeal and I could see Tom Hardy, but for the life of me I can't see why Nicholas Hoult is in the running.

I love Oliver Jackson-Cohen, but the word on the street is that he's been considered (along with a lot of other UK actors his age) and they passed on him. He's tied up with Netflix now anyway.
