Allison Williams
Her star was climbing, but it seemed to crash first when Daddy lost his network news job in disgrace, and then when she embarrassed herself both by crowing like a rooster as Peter Pan and then enthusiastically getting rimmed on cable television (pictured).
Everyone thought she was finished, but lately she has astonished everyone by making a comeback of sorts giving good performances in two much-loved "woke" horror films. Can she have a genuinely successful career now and prove she's not just a beneficiary of nepotism?

She'll probably end up on another HBO show in a couple of years.

These kinds of threads are so funny to me. People who know absolutely nothing about how show business really works, procrastinating about the future of a perfectly talented actor's prospects in their career. A career in this business is a long game. Allison Williams is a talented actress. If she chooses to, and puts in the necessary work to have one, she'll have a long career.

Hate her voice. It sounds adenoidy.

I guess her new Netflix horror/thriller film is supposed to be really, really good. She doesn't bother me the way she does other DLers, but I have no affinity for her either.

What’s the new horror movie on Netflix?

Her Netflix film, “The Perfection” is so ludicrous yet eminently watchable. Allison excels in scenes with no dialogue: she’d have been a luminous silent screen star.

"Procrastinating" doesn't mean what you think it does.

That whole Peter Pan thing was so cringey

She bores me onscreen. A fatal flaw for in the career of any aspiring actress.

I think he meant "prognosticating."
Using the wrong word while trying to put on such airs of superiority... ***snickers***

I think she got married to a dude. Haven't heard any rumors about her being into girls.

She's found a good niche playing skinny white upper-crust bitches. I actually think she's good in those sorts of roles and certainly fits the archetype (Girls, Get Out, her new horror thing I saw a bit of). But I wonder how much you can sustain a career playing such unlikeable characters. And i'm yet to see her do something 'different'.
I could see her being a lez but i'm not really fussed either way about her personal life. Can't stand her father.

R3, lol. We know enough to know her father helped her get to where she is, what is the problem with mentioning that? Plenty of perfectly talented people get no such leg up.
Funny you should mention that, R21, she played that type in Patrick Melrose as well.
