She was always a scene-stealer in Two and a Half Men.

She showed up on Maude toward the end of season two as a replacement for Florida. I guess the showrunners decided to go in a different direction because when they returned for the new season Maude was without a housekeeper for a few episodes and then they introduced Mrs. Naugatuck.

My mother always mentioned how much she enjoyed Conchata's performances whenever she appeared on a show. She got a kick out of her.

She was so great on Two and a Half Men. I can’t believe Charlie Sheen fucked that whole thing up. I’d still be watching it if they had new episodes.

I always thought she should have been a bigger star, though she did have s good career.

This is a great movie with Rip Torn. It’s a drama and she was wonderful.

Great character actress.

Also loved her in Mystic Pizza.

I never made the connection until later that she was in Erin Brokovich as one of the women who works in Edward's office and who Erin calls a bitch. A mini-Mystic reunion with Conchata and Julia Roberts.

I always thought she and Taylor Holland would be great in a spin off of two and a half men. Berta could go work for Evelyn and they raise an orphaned little girl together and call it Two and a Half Women.

She’s a great actress. She’s also fat and repulsive.

Heartland was really good.

What was the deal with her stint on L.A. Law? I saw she was nominated for an Emmy for her role, but only lasted one season on the show.

R14. She didn’t make her exit off LA Law “falling” down an elevator shaft like Maria Muldaur did.

L.A. Law had a bad track record with adding new cast members during the later years of the show. Few seemed to click with audience.

I loved her on the E/R sitcom as "Thor".

It was off-Broadway, r1. She also did The Sea Horse in 1974 for which she received a Drama Desk and Theatre World award.

R25 the only reason she got the role was because Millie was also very fat. Speaking of which, that’s why I found her unbelievable in Hot l Baltimore. A fat hooker is quite depressing.

Love Conchata. Very funny, reliable character actor who's also very effective with dramatic parts.

r30 I quite agree. Check out the episode of "Frank's Place," she played an attorney who was trying to get a settlement for an elderly black client, who had worked for the lawyer's family. A very moving piece, co-starring the wonderful Beah Richards.

She got to deliver Paddy Chavesky's classic "crusty but benign" mini-monologue as one of the network programmers in Network.

One of the smartest, funniest moments in film history.

What a great career she's had!

The thing is is that "I" myself know and love her and have since at least 1974 from the movie of the week and such but I'll be damned if I can reasonably name any of those movies. I remember Hot L Baltimore for some odd reason even though I was barely 13.

She did a great job in her role in Edward Scissorhands!
