Obviously, the Bond role is the starring role, but there is a lot more riding on you and, if it doesn't do well, it's all on you. You could be out in as few as two movies.

Whereas with Marvel, you're less to blame if there is a failure. Also, you probably get paid as much but for less work overall. Also, there is an annuity stream from the comic con crowd that would carry you a lot longer if roles begin to dry up.

I think the movie PR actually loved the controversy about the R rating and the debates if they should leave in the sex scene or not. It certainly brought the movie a lot of buzz. And now they get lauded by some people for "taking the risk" and leaving in the sex scene. But it seems like we'll just simply see a bit of naked butt and nothing more (otherwise the movie wouldn't be rated so low in other countries). So it wasn't really a risk to leave in that scene. It was just a marketing ploy to distinguish themselves from Bohemian Rhapsody.

I agree. The Rotten Tomatoes score always has to be taken with a grain of salt. You could theoretically have a movie with a 100% score that's just mediocre but 100% of the critics saw it as an at least enjoyable movie with an 5/10 or 6/10 score so their review is counted as fresh. And then you have another movie with a 70% score that has absolutely masterful acting and storyline in it and most critics would give it a 9/10 but the subject matter is a bit divisive so some critics will solely give it a bad/rotten review because of that.

You can have f-bombs in a movie and some drug scenes without it being rated R. Remember that "controversy" about leaving in the sex scene or leaving it out because that would decide if it would be rated R or not? Thanks R597 that makes sense. That’s definitely the question she asked first, about getting a tattoo to commemorate the movie. Imagine if he and Taron got matching tattoos! I’ve noticed that he always spends a lot of time with fans doing autographs and selfies.

I don't get such answers tbh. It's perhaps true if you have a tattoo on your arm. But if it's on your shoulder blade, your ankle, your leg or some similar hidden place it's not a big deal. Unless he plays a character that runs around naked all the time the tattoo would be covered by clothes anyway. And if it's a small tattoo covering it takes only about 2 minutes lol.
