Ayesha Curry: Depression Led to 'botched Boob Job'
Ayesha Curry says she made a "rash decision" to get her boobs done after having her 2nd kid in 2015 -- but says her doctor did horrible work and left her with "the most botched boob job on the face of the planet."
30-year-old Ayesha who's married to NBA superstar Steph Curry -- opened up about the surgery to Working Mother ... saying at the time she was dealing with postpartum depression.
"I didn’t realize at the time, but after having Ryan, I was battling a bit of postpartum that lingered for a while," Ayesha said.
"It came in the form of me being depressed about my body ... So I made a rash decision. The intention was just to have them lifted, but I came out with these bigger boobs I didn’t want."
"I got the most botched boob job on the face of the planet. They’re worse now than they were before. I would never do anything like that again, but I’m an advocate of if something makes you happy, who cares about the judgment?"
Ayesha has since had a 3rd kid -- Canon Curry -- and says she's been able to develop more self-confidence in being a working mom.
Of course, Ayesha is a pretty well-respected chef -- who recently teamed up with chef Michael Mina to open International Smoke restaurants all over the country.
"The little things that used to seem like problems aren't problems at all anymore. Things roll off my back more easily."

She should go on Botched and get them fixed. She can't be worse than some others on the show. Plus, it would be fun to see the before and after.

So he is a professional ball player and she opening restaurants around the country. Why do people have kids if they aren't going to make time to raise them?

Mothers just seem so damaged. Women make parenthood seem horrific.

The shitty surgeon is what led to the boob job being "botched."

Speaking of damaged, what was your childhood like, r3?

R1 is that a before and after photo of Ayesha? I’m not sure who she is but why make a big stink? Just quietly fix them. What a mess... She seems like a hot mess. There has to be more to the story? Divorce?

1 person isn't supposed to raise a child. In many non-Western societies the grandparents play a major role in raising the children. The American way often leads to loneliness and depression.
Also, why do so many women decide to be single mothers on purpose? I rarely see men adopting children as single parents.

I actually find Ayesha very attractive. Better without the boob job, though.

R3-- I wonder what 'damages' women...Could it be life-long conditioning that emphasizes looks, attracting boys then men, getting pregnant, doing pregnancy 'right,' doing motherhood 'right,' pressure to rebound from birth to a pre-pregnancy body, and continuous, unrelenting pressure to remain attractive and a fuckable object for men into old age?
Why are you so bewildered? Look around, even gay men on this site who'd NEVER want to fuck women pass judgement on them for their perceived lack of attractiveness . Everyone feels entitled to comment negatively on women's appearances and life choices.

It's sad how many women go in for one size, and they leave larger than desired. Many on Botched discuss similar experiences. A better surgeon would have encouraged her to wait, or questioned her motives, and her psychological state as well. So many are obviously just in it to make the most money, regardless of the patient.
R12 I think many men cannot appreciate the changes (and damage) pregnancy can cause a woman, physically as well as emotionally. Flippant gay men are probably no better than straight men in this.. they don't have female partners to witness and share in the changes, and as I suspect from R3, probably didn't have a particularly close relationship with his mum. I find men who do, usually have had a conversation at some point with their mum about her experience carrying them, and giving birth. Some are just clueless. AND flippant.

[quote]Why do people have kids if they aren't going to make time to raise them?
Many hetero people want children and like the idea of having them.
However, rich people stay rich by going out and making more money.
They hire nannies to do the dirty work of raising them and the kids get used to it so they're not complaining.
I give credit to people like Shonda Rhimes and Chrissy Tiegen who openly talk about having nannies and don't hide them in the background.
You can't have it all.
