[bold]Beto I love you[/bold] !!!
OMG! Beto will be on The Rachel Maddow Show tonight.

About time!
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 14, 2019 2:27 AM |
Déjà Vu, loser.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 14, 2019 2:44 AM |
What does this man have to lose with running? Beto is just a schmuck.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 14, 2019 2:48 AM |
He's trying to make a comeback. Mayor Pete came along and quickly bumped him out of the spotlight.
It's too soon to tell what's going to happen since Joe Biden is the most popular candidate at the present.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 14, 2019 2:50 AM |
Bless his heart, he is an earnest little thing.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 14, 2019 2:52 AM |
Too many democrats running. Beto got lost in the crowd.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 14, 2019 2:55 AM |
He's weird and inauthentic
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 14, 2019 2:58 AM |
VERY disappointed with his response to her questions about foreign policy. She specifically asked him what she thought Pompeo was up to, pin balling around Europe, and if this is a precursor to action against Iran. He gave her talking points about everything but.
I like him, but.....
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 14, 2019 3:00 AM |
He did not do well. It was borderline embarrassing.
Halting, stammering responses. Pete seemed far more presidential and made him look out of his depth.
Is it too late for him to run for Cornyn's Senate seat?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 14, 2019 3:03 AM |
He did better than Trump.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 14, 2019 3:05 AM |
He really is a humanitarian running among politicians.
Unique even in how he relates his message to others. While Biden and Kamala narrow and focus their international policies towards Europe, Beto clearly focuses more in Latin America which flatfooted Rachel. She was not prepared to asked him about politics in South American countries which Beto has clearly studied well coming from a border city.
He would be an [bold]excellent[/bold] US embassador to the UN. My god, he is made for the UN. Whoever wins the presidency needs to put him there.

[quote] Is it too late for him to run for Cornyn's Senate seat?
Ted Cruz is hated in Texas, Cornyn isn't hated, if Beto couldn't beat Cruz then he isn't going to beat Cornyn and Beto knows it.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 14, 2019 3:06 AM |
Can Beto beat Trump? That's all I care about.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 14, 2019 3:08 AM |
[quote]Is it too late for him to run for Cornyn's Senate seat?
I think the DNC is waiting for how things pan out after the first debate (June) before it starts telling people to drop out and run for congress or governorships instead. I think both Pete and Beto might fall into the latter.
[quote]Ted Cruz is hated in Texas, Cornyn isn't hated
Cruz is more popular in Texas than Trump himself, Cruz was the most popular Republican in Texas in. Beto would have an even bigger shot to win the Senate seat in 2020.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 14, 2019 3:13 AM |
A female Democrat is already running against Cornyn in Texas.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 14, 2019 3:26 AM |
Beto lost it when he decided not to challenge the Senate election after it was proven that the machines were changing votes from him to Cruz....and it was verified by the election board. He just let it go and walked away.

FF R13
No one should be praised that much on PeteLounge. Bye Felicia!!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 14, 2019 3:46 AM |
How are his hands? He needs to drop the jazz hands unless of course he wants to do six weeks as Roxie this summer in "Chicago."
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 14, 2019 3:48 AM |
Tonight he was holding the edge of Rachel's desk for dear life while you could see the restless leg syndrome went unchecked.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 14, 2019 4:09 AM |
Maybe he forgot to go pee before going on set
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 14, 2019 4:12 AM |
Damn. The ONE Texas Democrat I like as much as Beto, maybe even more, is running against Cornyn in 2020. Julian may run too.
I love the idea of Beto at the UN.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 14, 2019 4:12 AM |
He needs to take several seats. With the exception of GWB most presidents, including Trump, have hustled to make something of themselves, Beto is a former skateboarder that had parents or parent in law push him towards success. Between him and Pete, I'll go with the guy with executive experience, military service, and an excelent education. Beto should run for DNC chair when that opens up again.
There is a place for him but the WH ain't it.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 14, 2019 4:14 AM |
r13 he knows about Latin America, that's great, but our threat is from beyond our waters at the moment and in the WH. There a ton of career diplomats and staff in the State Department that should be sent to the UN over Beto.
He gets people motivated, why not start him someplace like the Chairman of the DNC? UN is not a job for slackers or people unprepared for even softball questions from a friendly news agency.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 14, 2019 4:18 AM |
Beto is an unorganized mess. Any Democrat should keep him out of their administration.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 14, 2019 4:24 AM |
Unimpressive in debates. A dilettante who should not have responded to losing a statewide race by running for president.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 14, 2019 4:35 AM |
Such a lightweight.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 14, 2019 4:36 AM |
The Bernos have arrived. He was refreshing in Rachel Maddow. Beto is definitely using his 2018 Senate run as a springboard. I hope he is given a position at the DNC or UN and later runs for the Texas governorship in 2022.
As it is now, he is a clear frontrunner for Vice President.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 14, 2019 4:53 AM |
Beto lost a major Texas Senate race to the one Republican all Republicans despise and then he thinks he should run for president?
Ego personified. He'll be one of the first to drop out.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 14, 2019 4:59 AM |
[quote]Senate race to the one Republican all Republicans despise
Cruz was coming off fro a runner-up place in the Republican primaries and was the most popular Republican politician in Texas in the 2018 midterm elections. Add to that that there were serious question about the legality of the election results.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | May 14, 2019 5:03 AM |
R31 Then Beto's ego shouldn't have challenged him. Cruz is a douchebag.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | May 14, 2019 5:04 AM |
I can’t stand his stupid nickname. He was still shamelessly begging for money when he already knew he’d lost the senate.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 14, 2019 5:05 AM |
In my 1970s grade-school days, we would have called him a spazz. He is twitchy and comes across as inauthentic. He may be sincere, but he seems too aware of trying to sell it, rather than just being it. I liked him when he was running against Cruz, but now he seems like he's [insert cliche of choice*].
*all sizzle and no steak *an empty suit *a dog that don't hunt *flamed out already
We need a statesman (or woman). Not sure who that is yet, but it ain't Beto or Bernie. Biden is old, but he looks pretty vital compared to Orange Shitler. However, no matter what, I'll be voting blue.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 14, 2019 5:10 AM |
At least 20 of the 22 Democrats are either unqualified or have zero chance of winning including Beto, Booker, Amy, Warren, the blond chick, Castro, Kamala, etc. Biden will fuck it up. It pains me, but Pete has no chance either. Bernie had his chance and lost it. The other candidates I didn’t mention aren’t worth mentioning.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 14, 2019 12:09 PM |
Voting for Beto
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 14, 2019 12:22 PM |
Voting for Pete!
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 14, 2019 3:48 PM |
Why r35? Do you want to get into his pants or are we missing some leadership quality that makes him unique for this cycle?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 15, 2019 12:58 AM |
R38 the real odds are against all of these candidates. My horse in the race right now is Steve Bullock. He can challenge Trump in Red State and he's socially liberal.
I want to win! I can't stand Trump!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 15, 2019 1:02 AM |
Hey Beto bashers, Pete has no chance either; you think this country will vote for a gay man and his HUSBAND to be in the White House?
LOL! Don't count on it.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 15, 2019 1:08 AM |
R40 DL is in Pete fantasy land.

by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 15, 2019 1:54 AM |
Beto's 2.0 has already crashed and burned. The dude's running out of something to do.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | May 22, 2019 12:45 AM |
I'm not voting for either Beto or Pete in the primary.
But saying we shouldn't make Pete the nominee because he's gay but we should support Beto because he's hot and straight is pretty close to the dictionary definition of homophobia and gay self loathing.
You Beto people aren't really helping your case.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | May 22, 2019 12:55 AM |
Doesn't seem it generated much interest.
MSNBC primetime host Rachel Maddow brought in her worst weekly ratings of the year last week.
Her show last week averaged 2,324,000 viewers, with an average audience of 337,000 in the 25-54 age demographic, both of which mark yearly lows according to Nielsen Media Research.

Doesn't he have advisers? Is there no one there to say don't get your ear hair cut online?
by Anonymous | reply 46 | May 22, 2019 2:50 AM |
No, he’s too arrogant for advisers.
