Touches on the gay aspect being that he's an actor and was somewhat bullied in high school. Insecurities due to being much poorer than his classmates and fellow aspiring teen actors. One could easily see why the casting couch seemed like a viable alternative.

Zero insight? He says right there he had, "the privilege and opportunity to have a tutor and to afford practice test programs. A lot of kids don’t." He knows the reason he got in was because his dad had money to get him tutors AND that not everyone has that.

Thank you Mr. Ben Carson for that "pulling yourself up by your bootstraps" philosophy. I didn't. You didn't. That's fine. I bought the books (first the SATs then later when I took the GRE) to learn how the tests wanted me to take them. They taught me how to estimate the answers in math when the first time I took it I was actually solving every problem completely. I ran out of time. The second time on both I did much better.

My parents didn't have the money to get a tutor for me but I'm not angry with kids who could get one. I'm more annoyed at the kids that cheated the system entirely and I don't think there's anything wrong with feeling that way whether you took the test with tutoring help or without.

There's a difference between working the system (the Lowe kids) and completely cheating the system (Lori, Felicity, et al)

But Johnny and his Dad were proudly declaring that they are better than their peers. ( and then took the post down ) NO, no they are not. All cut from the same cloth holding themselves in high regard, then lauding over everyone else, because they're rich - therefore they can.
