Bodyguard started all of this. Without Bodyguard nothing of this would have happened.

I think he’s mentioned in several interviews over the last few months that he feels happy and settled both personally and professionally. So logically that would include winning the GG, the juicy roles he’s getting now, AND Brandon.

People like to remind Brandon’s stans that there’s no date on the six months so their efforts to attribute everything to someone Richard avoids being photographed with while ignoring the complete change in Richard’s career as a source of happiness don’t ring true.

We don’t even know when he said these things. It could have been six months ago or six months before that (if they are from other interviews) I seriously doubt he called up the Sun and spilled the beans. Out of all the press he’s done lately with big magazines, a story in the Sun wouldn’t be my first thought. I know some of you said it could be a bizarre blackmail scheme, and maybe that’s true, so he gave some sort of quote and maybe thought that was a “safe” thing to say, but I just don’t know.

If they are recent (and true) quotes, that’s great. I hope he’s figured things out; what he wants in life, love, career, etc. It would make sense that he’s happy if he hadn’t been living the life he wanted and he’s found that with BF. Like the poster above said, it seems like he’s always done what he thought he should do at the time, even if it wasn’t what he wanted, so that’s a nice change, and could also be part of it.

We also have to remember that part of it could be his personal life, but his career has exploded and that’s a great source of happiness for an actor who has been working hard for years at it. A relationship is a great source of happiness, but it’s not the only source.

I agree with this. First we got the couple pictures and they were ok with being papped again together right after (even if they didn't touch each other as much as in the first photos). DM and others were writing about Brandon and Richard in several articles. And suddenly we get several single Richard pap shots in a row, even Brandon called the paps on himself for some single photos (the paps were waiting for him at the hotel so he must have called them) and the DM is suddenly not mentioning Brandon in any Richard articles again. Perhaps Richard's team has good connections to the DM and could persuade them to not mention Brandon again and post a few single Richard working out articles (perhaps by promising an exclusive of Richard or another actor the team represents etc.). But of course they can't control every magazine so a Brandon/Richard connection still got hinted at in some articles.
