The writer is very open about Feldman’s “eccentric” (crazy, whatever...) personality, but also acknowledges the truth in the overall story of “the Coreys” being abused and abuse in Hollywood in general.

I thought this quote from the article was pretty good:

“It was the gossip back in the Eighties,” former Little House on the Prairie star Alison Arngrim once remembered. “People said, ‘Oh, yeah, the Coreys, everyone’s had them.’ People talked about it like it was not a big deal. . . . I literally heard that they were ‘passed around.’ The word was that they were given drugs and being used for sex. It was awful — these were kids. . . . There were all sorts of stories about everyone . . . that these two had been sexually abused.”

And Corey Haim’s mother Judy does sound kind of nuts (the “Wolfpack” group she helped form harassing him online and saying that they hoped he’s “gang raped in prison”, etc. is really bizarre).

I’m sure she *is* a grieving mother, but she also didn’t watch her underage son closely enough around a world of adults (the entrainment industry, sets, etc.) and this resulted in him being preyed in by pedophiles.

I don’t think the mom *wanted* her son to be hurt of course, but saying: “My son was never raped! Corey Feldman has made it his mission in life to destroy my son’s legacy. He’s just jealous my son always got top billing! It’s all lies!” sounds really off too...

It makes me really question the environment Haim was raised in :(

He was my favorite Corey too (still is); I have always loved “Lucas” and “License to Drive” (LTD is silly, ridiculous 80’s fun)

I feel a little bad for Feldman too (though he obviously seems to have a self-sabotaging, overly dramatic, and obnoxious personality) because I don’t think he really knows how to *do* anything other than what he’s doing (trying to get “back in the business”, living on the far fringes of that industry, etc.)

I do think he really was abused and I also think that he was never equipped with adult life skills because he was never around anyone healthy or normal growing up. The ex-child star with horrible parents thing is real. So many examples.

Look at poor Edward Furlong even (who is apparently *still* a mess and) who was so gorgeous once upon a time.

I have no idea what could actually help and make better someone like Feldman, someone with no job or “real life” skills, etc.

Even that part in the article where it said that he had done 100 commercials by the age of 9 (or something like that) sounded like a nightmare. That is really having no childhood even if you’re not abused after the fact...

He does seem very damaged. And Haims mother seems crazy. There's grieving for your dead child and there's cultivating a group of people to systematically stalk and terrorize an emotionally fragile person. Not really the same thing.

This "I know, but I can'tell" messaging for years has gotten really old. Either convey the truth, or shut up about it. If he is trying to leave something hanging till someone departs, that's shallow because the acussed is not longer capable of responding.

The first thing he could do r9, is be a father to his son instead of throwing pathetic parties with his skanky entourage. He could work with Traci Lords' foundation or some other foundation for exploited kids, he could do anything but the stupid shit he is doing which is just a 20 year long "I know something you don't know" chiding while kids could be getting molested by his molesters. Regardless, teasing that info for years, all while promoting yourself as an anti-child abuse advocate, is transparently self-serving. If you know people are molesting kids, you say something so it stops. Otherwise it makes you complicit. You don’t play “I got a secret but I can’t tell” every six months for 25+ years.

Honestly think there isn’t that much to tell, and even if there is, how much can be substantiated? And Corey has been crying wolf for so long, how much credibility does he have? I also suspect if he dropped names, it might come out that he has been paid to keep quiet, which would really decimate his “save the children” narrative.

Allegedly, Charlie has threatened certain people in his life, with death.

I heard that he once told a hooker that he would have her killed by a hit man, if she reached some really personal information about him, and the hooker in question is now dead.

Allegedly, the hooker was going public with the HIV story years before Charlie was forced to go public. She (actually, he was a trans MtF) was extorting Sheen, & was later found dead.

I personally, do not believe this story, but I recall hearing about it, and I also recall Feldman claiming that certain people in HW would have no problem having him killed.

I believe that Feldman is completely full of shit. Yes, he was molested, along with his friend, but he took hush money, as someone suggested upthread, and he now uses his “I’ve got a secret” angle, to continue cashing in.

I think that he was definitely molested by Michael Jackson, and I also believe he has accepted payouts from MJ when MJ was still living, and other payouts after MJ’s death, from the estate.

I would not be at all surprised if Sheen has killed a hooker before—even if it’s not the one in question, R19.

R24 interesting you mention Haim's dad, as I've often wondered the same. In the LifeTime TALE OF TWO COREYS movie, Haim's father is played as a normal, nice, nebbish civilian non-entity who quietly fades out of teen Haim's life without fanfare or fallout when he divorces Judy. Don't quote me on this but I believe Corey's older sister went to live with their father when life with Corey & Judy got too much.

This reminds; in an episode toward the end of the second & final season of the TWO COREYS reality show (2007-8) Haim has a taped session with an addiction/relationship therapist, in which he is asked to make amends and forgive everyone in his life who has hurt him (retarded thing to ask a serial CSA victim to do, but whatever). In this 50-minute, Haim is heard to tell the awful hack therapist, "my Dad needs to apologise to ME" in a very hostile tone of voice. This show was heavily edited and loosely scripted, so obviously that moment was left in for a reason but it was never explained on or off the show. Just two years after the episode, Haim was dead.

That shrink was beyond fucking useless. I watched that show. It was a filmed document of a suicidal mans crash. Feldman is a garbage person for exploiting Haim. It was painful to watch. Really sick tv show. Cancel Feldman. Forever. Let him do his Michael Jackson act downtown with the crack heads and homeless. He exploits anyone he can sidle up to at this point. Feldman is a bum.

R8 Lucas was a great movie. And if you ever wondered if Charlie Sheen could be hot, he was in this.

The unsung hero of this piece is Feldman's dad Robert, who realised early on that his kid was a sack of shit and despite a valiant attempt to manage his son's behaviour soon emancipated him when it became clear Corey couldn't empathise or live like a healthy human being.

What does Feldman really have to live for? Spill the fucking beans or stop it. If anything, you'd think a rich monster would snuff him out BEFORE he blabs. He's just desperate to remain relevant.

If he really feared someone would kill him before he blabs - solve that problem and just blab. Now no need to kill you because it's already out, no more fear. No more press and no more bullshit.
