Are they saying those who don't have such signs don't support the police? And how exactly do they support the police? By posting a sign?
"We Support Our Local Police" Signs - What do they Even Mean?

Will suck police dick, no charge. At least that's what mine means.

i am too busy figuring out what my LIFE means to be bothered about what signs mean.....my brain is too full.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 16, 2019 6:27 PM |
Somene in the family is a cop. The sign means what it says. This is not difficult. Don't be a troll.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 16, 2019 6:28 PM |
Virtue signalling.
Both the left and the right do it, OP
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 16, 2019 6:28 PM |
"We hate black people."
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 16, 2019 6:29 PM |
It's a mix of R4 and R5. I remember seeing a rise in those blue stripe flags after Black Lives Matter started.

[quote]What do they Even Mean?
They mean... “We DON’T support Black Lives Matter”.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 16, 2019 6:33 PM |
It means that the police can do anything and are above reproach in their eyes.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 16, 2019 6:33 PM |
It means "please patrol my street more often, I'm afraid of my neighbors!"
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 16, 2019 6:41 PM |
It means “ We don’t have the balls to hang Confederate flags and burning crosses!”
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 16, 2019 6:41 PM |
I thought it meant, "Don't give me a speeding ticket."

Businesses suck up to perceived authoritarian figures that are part of our political discourse, only because it's good for business. They support troops, veterans, cops, firefighters, etc. Sometimes teachers or farmers.
Never surgeons or medical health professionals, scientists, engineers, or anything like that. Only jobs that get used in a political way.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 16, 2019 6:44 PM |
Passive aggressive bullshit from deplorables. Same type of people who have that KEET CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS bumper sticker. Pure trash.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 16, 2019 6:44 PM |
The far Left hates the police and wants them gone. I’m not even joking. They literally say we shouldn’t have a police force. They want them banned from everything.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 16, 2019 6:45 PM |
Bullshit from Boris at R14.

[quote] Bullshit from Boris at [R14].
Wrong, grandpa.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 16, 2019 6:50 PM |
Authoritarian suck-up types.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 16, 2019 6:53 PM |
It means we support our law enforcement when they shoot innocent black people but NOT when they suggest the President is a criminal.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 16, 2019 6:54 PM |
The same people who were hall monitors in grade school.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 16, 2019 6:55 PM |
They’re saying that they’re fascist bootlickers, OP, and that they hate black and brown people and approve of police brutality. The same as flying a confederate flag, getting a swastika tattoo or wearing a white Klan hood. Just more socially acceptable. But exactly the same, nonetheless. People like this would welcome a fascist police state.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 16, 2019 6:56 PM |
The same people who are so concerned about crime in faraway Chicago because that's what FOX news tells them. Meanwhile they turn a blind eye to the criminals in the White House.

[quote]"We Support Our Local Police" Signs - What do they Even Mean?
It means they gave to the local police benevolent association.
It means that the cops don't need to approach that house again.

Our son's football team got to play the finals because they "lost" that rape test kit.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 16, 2019 6:58 PM |
Exactly, R16.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 16, 2019 6:58 PM |
R3 must have one of those signs on his lawn.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 16, 2019 7:01 PM |
It's code speak for "I hate the coloureds but it's 2019 so I can't say that out loud anymore."
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 16, 2019 7:03 PM |
R5 and R10 are correct.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 16, 2019 7:07 PM |
I knew an acquaintance on facebook who posted after a police shooting that “coloreds need to obey the police and teach their kids to do the same.” I unfriended him of course. He’s who I think of when I see these signs.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 16, 2019 7:08 PM |
It means if you get shot, it's your own fault. Always. (And especially if you're black.) The police are infallible.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 16, 2019 7:09 PM |
R30 probably nails it.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 16, 2019 7:35 PM |
That graphic is awesome. "Some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses."
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 16, 2019 7:46 PM |
R14: I consider myself far left and I don't want to ban police, I just want them all disarmed. Make them use the most dangerous weapon known to mankind, their own brain.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 16, 2019 8:05 PM |
[quote]The sign means what it says. This is not difficult.
Well it's difficult for me to understand.
HOW are they supporting them?
Do they give them an envelope with some money in it every month?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 16, 2019 8:11 PM |
If I wasn't a pussy I would ask one of these people what it is they do to support the police. Reminds me of the I Support the Troops BS....I remember one time posting on Facebook that the most you can do to "support the troops" was to hold the government leaders accountable to make sure they only put our troops in harm's way unless absolutely necessary". That got some people a little miffed believe it or not.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 16, 2019 8:15 PM |
They are either KKK or they have paid their busting insurance to the local force so they can do shit with impunity
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 16, 2019 8:15 PM |
"Support Your Local Police" became a big deal during the cultural upheaval of the '60s. It was such a common expression that it was parodied in the title of this 1969 film.
