I vote for that one, Iguaza.

I love the lake thread! I'll be following this one too. For now I'll say Switzerland. So many gorgeous waterfalls. I need to get back there.

Anyone ever taken the tourist boat ride under Iguazu Falls? It's the most frightening thing I've ever done. Makes Maid of The Mist rides at Niagara Falls seem like a Fantasyland ride at Disneyland.

Can't you swim?

Another for Iguacu, Yes, I've taken that boat ride.

When Venezuela gets its act together, people may once again get to appreciate this marvel of the world -- Angel Falls, world's tallest waterfall.

I live near Multnomah Falls, and it is beautiful, as are the other falls near by. Bridal Veil has a great hike, and this at the end:
It is a pity that the Gorge burned 2 years ago, because a teen and his firecrackers. The lodge at Multnomah Falls was nearly destroyed.

R20, that looks like the textbook waterfall.

Ithaca New York has so many lovely falls, small and large, tranquil and roaring. The overall effect of them being everywhere, is stunning.

Another vote for Iguasu, Plitvice, and Victoria.

I was told it’s Victoria Falls from someone who has been to all the main 3 falls

This is California's best waterfall, Upper Yosemite Falls. The double waterfall covers 2500 feet in total and the upper fall flows over a sheer cliff 1500 feet high, which is pretty damn impressive. And yes, seeing rainbows in the waterfall mist is common enough, I've seen this effect in person several times.
Of course there's nothing like the volumes of water you get at the really big falls like Niagara and Iguazu, but California just doesn't do huge volumes of water.
