Sweet gal. We’ve met a few times, could not have been nicer.

F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S. I saw his cabaret act last summer in the Berkshires - delightful evening. Ex-porn performer Gus Maddox tickling the ivories off on stage right.
I performed in Busch's "Psycho Beach Party" in 1992... what a great show!

The gaylings need a guide to the past...and Charles Busch is that gateway to camp!

He has the type of talent drag queens on Drag Race do not have.

I saw him in Vampire Lesbians of Sodom way back in the mid 80's. My then boyfriend Gary took me, Gary with the big dick, Gary who enjoyed a good flip flop fucking. I miss Gary.

I like him. THE DIVINE SISTER was the funniest show I have ever been to.

He was great in die mommie die.........I suggest watching the old betty davis flick, dead ringer, first, and maybe also mommie dearest as die mommy die has elements of both themes. Really an entertaining flick.

He has been responsible for some of my best nights at the theatre - his shows always elevate my mood.

Yes, and when you watch “Dead Ringers” be sure to listen to the commentary track he does with Boze Hadleigh.
It’s very entertaining.

Met him on an escalator at a cinema in Kipps Bay and I complimented his performance at a Joe’s Pub event earlier where he read a celebrity autobiography in character. He was so nice in person, and so modest. He smiled and said something simple like “those shows are fun, aren’t they?”
He’s a nice, kind fellow and a good writer. Like him very much.

Die Mommy Die is one of those movies I put on when I can't find anything else to stream or play that appeals to me. I've probably see the damned thing 25 or 30 times and every time I am entertained. Busch himself is amazing, with the ability to effortlessly channel at least a dozen mid-century screen idols. And then you add Frances Conroy's gloriously devious and mousy housekeeper, Stark Sands in all his ravenous and twinkish glory (and that ass!), Natasha Lynne at her bitchy best, plus Jason Priestly nonchalantly fucking to submission nearly every person he encounters, and you have one of the greatest intentional camp fests ever filmed. Even that crazy mid-century manse is camp at its bet.

Did he really rip off Die Mommy Die from some other playwright’s play?
