Actress Mitzi Hoag dies after appearing on The Facts of Life
Well the obituary doesn't mention a cause of death, but I'm fairly certain it was due to her role as Mrs. Green, Natalie's mother, on the NBC sitcom "The Facts of Life". After all, Charlotte Rae died too.
You may not know Hoag by name, but if you watched TV in the 70s and 80s, you probably saw her multiple times. She had roles on Bonanza, The Partridge Family, Gunsmoke, Little House on the Prarie, The Rockford Files, The Jeffersons, Archie Bunker's Place, The Love Boat, Knots Landing, Falcon Crest, Love American Style, and many more.

Mitzi in Season 6 of The Facts of Life. This was her final appearance on the show, so likely it's the episode that kills her. Whoever posted this to You Tube didn't include any warning, but just be aware that it's a pretty violent and grisly end.
