I never got around to watching them and finally started a few days ago. I fucking hate it! There is like one or two stories. It is patriarchal, sexist, and glorifies the military. I gave them to a friend who grew up in the 60s and used to watch it. I cannot believe I ever though I'd like this shit show. Bewitched was way better. As a kid I always wanted to get spit roasted by the two Darrens.
10 years ago I bought the first three seasons of I Dream Of Jeanie on DVD

Our military deserves to be glorified you dumbass. They protect our cuntry and give us the freedom we have.
Go move to Mexico or Canada. They need more ugly lesbians.

R2 fuck you cunt. Like 800 billion a year or more of tax payer dollars goes to fight fake wars and fictitious enemies. You fucking asshole.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | February 15, 2019 1:01 AM |
It didn't glorify the military. It was NASA and the space program. Astronauts were so hot during that time. Kind of stupid to order multiple seasons of a show you never watched.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 15, 2019 1:15 AM |
I watched it as a kid when I would watch anything. Now as an adult it is fucking horrible. And NASA is part of the military machine, dumbfuck.

I tried to tell people I Dream of Jeannie was hardly classic TV like Bewitched and wasn’t even highly regarded when it was first in TV but they wouldn’t listen.

Samantha was more powerful and more intelligent
Than that 5,000 year old giggling bimbo Jeannie
Elizabeth Montgomery was said to be annoyed that the producers of IDoJ ripped off the plot of her hit show - even down to the evil dark-haired twin
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 15, 2019 1:25 AM |
Bewitched was a million times better. Uncle Arthur and Endora were awesome. IDOJ was like Three's Company. The same 2 or 3 episodes recycled a hundred times.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 15, 2019 1:25 AM |
Uncle Arthur was gayer than Liberace and Boy George combined. His laugh was as contagious as aids.

Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman were adorable, and the interior of Jeannie's bottle is to die for! Have there been guys who have redecorated their places like it? All that purple and velvet looks so cozy!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 15, 2019 1:29 AM |
I Dream Of Jeannie was pure fluff all the way and mindless fun. It was an okay show. And yes, here's the inside of Jeannie's beautiful bottle.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 15, 2019 1:33 AM |
NASA is not part of the military, dipshit @r5.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 15, 2019 1:34 AM |
Like r12 said, you are a dipshit, r5. Nasa is a civilian agency and Nasa is very serious about its civilian mission.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 15, 2019 1:35 AM |
Love this photo of Jeannie and her 'master'.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 15, 2019 1:36 AM |
R13 choke and die on a huge cock. You are wrong.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 15, 2019 1:41 AM |
Larry Hagman was so hot on that show.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 15, 2019 1:41 AM |
Larry Hagman was the cute boy next door type.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 15, 2019 1:44 AM |
From the very first episode. The first season was in black and white.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 15, 2019 1:47 AM |
OP just wants to start shit.
Get over yourself, OP -- I Dream of Jeanie was a show of its time. Everything that gets your panties in a bunch doesn't deserve the #metoo treatment.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 15, 2019 1:49 AM |
Amanda Lepore looks like Barbara Eden on IDoJ.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 15, 2019 1:52 AM |
R23 who mentioned the metoo bullshit, cunt. IDOJ was brain dead garbage and was never funny.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 15, 2019 1:54 AM |
The show debuted in 1965, OP. Did you think it was going to be as woke as sense8?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 15, 2019 1:54 AM |
Amanda Lepore always reminded me of IDoJ in the 90’s
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 15, 2019 1:55 AM |
R26 stick your bullshit politics right in your cunt, cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 15, 2019 1:56 AM |
Calling out patriarchy has nothing to do with the woke movement, stupid ignorant fuck.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 15, 2019 2:09 AM |
SJWs are insufferable.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 15, 2019 2:23 AM |
OP doesn't have a Valentine and wants to make everyone else miserable.
Boo, whore -- I Dream of Jeanie was sitcom fluff and you trying to re-label it with a disparaging statement on the political or sexual mores of America proves that you have nothing better to do with your time.
(Also, she thinks NASA is part of the military so we all know we're dealing with someone who has a Trumpian level of government knowledge. Next think you know, OP is going to try to tell us that Chico and the Man is the basis of why Trump's wall is necessary.)
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 15, 2019 2:35 AM |
I Dream of Jeannie is to Bewitched as The Partridge Family is to The Brady Bunch.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 15, 2019 3:00 AM |
[quote]It is patriarchal, sexist, and glorifies the military
Yet Jeannie basically controls Major Nelson for the entire run of the series and forces him into doing things against his will and without his sexual consent all the time. But she DOES call him "master" and goes into her bottle sometimes when he tells her(but rarely stays put)so I guess that PROVES Tony has total , patriarchal dominance over her.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 15, 2019 3:29 AM |
IDOJ is just fucking awful. Not funny at all.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 18, 2019 11:59 AM |
Hagman was hot
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 18, 2019 12:09 PM |
As a little kid I loved the show in reruns. Even bought the same kind of Jim Beam decanter used in the show as her bottle at a garage sale so I could play Jeannie. But it really isn't as smart as Bewitched was. Was fun for my young imagination.
