I think logically speaking, it makes some sense to transition from white to black. Race is a cultural construct: we're all the same species and ultimately we all originated in Africa. Did you all see the reconstructed 3D bust of England's "Cheddar Man"? He lived in the UK something like 9,000 years ago and was basically a black guy with blue eyes. Apparently everyone looked pretty much African until quite recently (circa 5,000 BCE? iirc) when evolutionarily speaking those peoples who'd migrated to colder Northern climates began being born with less and less melatonin in their skin, hair, and eyes so they could absorb more sunlight and get enough vitamin D.

I'm intrigued that researchers have created the melatonin injection drugs and I really hope it can be used to help the sizable, very vulnerable population of people with albinism in countries like Tanzania. 1 in 2,000 Tanzanians are born with albinism and there are witch doctors who pay a premium to have them butchered for their body parts to use as mystical charms--it's horrific. They're poached for their pale skin much the same way elephants are poached for their ivory. Even those who are taken to protected sanctuaries are all at great risk of dying from skin cancer quite young because they live so close to the equator. I would be overjoyed if the melatonin drug can help them, and all people with albinism. The fact that Boobzilla's eyes absorbed some of the melatonin and became darker is fascinating too, because people with albinism are almost all legally blind due to too much light hitting their retinas from all angles--their irises don't have enough pigment to protect them, so even glasses don't help them see. But maybe one day this could. In a way, she's turned herself into a useful medical Guinea pig for the advancement of scientific knowledge.

Biological sex, of course, is not a cultural construct and is immutable in every XX or XY cell of our DNA. I think anyone who wants to change their bodies and identities so radically are deeply psychologically disturbed but I do have more sympathy for these trans-racial whackos than the transgender ones (who are usurping and destroying the rights of women, gays, and children). This looney with the beach ball bazooms isn't a danger to anyone but herself.

I remember seeing Martina and her husband on an episode of "Botched" on "E". They are German and she was once a beautiful blonde flight attendant and her husband was a pilot, I think. When they were on Botched, one of the doctors said the melatonin procedure they had in Europe is not legal in the US. I think she wanted darker skin and bigger boobs. The doctors told her to go somewhere else to get what she wanted, they wouldn't do anything further to her.

I know! I saw a program about it on tv but couldn't last 5 mins because i found the whole thing too disturbing.

Why poach African albinos, why not just poach white people? There's more of them, and toss out the hair, no one can tell the difference.
