AOC has only been elected to a two-year term. These dinosaurs want her to spend it sitting on her hands and awaiting orders.

She's the Trump of the left.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | January 20, 2019 9:39 PM |
And he is a self-righteous, sexist douchebag of epic proportions.
At least he's stopped frosting his hair.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | January 20, 2019 9:41 PM |
I'm still waiting for Aaron to write something where characters act and talk like actual humans. We are all waiting for something, I guess...
by Anonymous | reply 4 | January 20, 2019 9:45 PM |
PS: Aaron?
You've gotten really FAT.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | January 20, 2019 9:48 PM |
Why does he always wear such small glasses?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | January 20, 2019 9:52 PM |
AOC is fucking young. She is 29. Old relic Pelosi is 78. What fuck is As eating magic mushrooms again?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | January 20, 2019 9:53 PM |
White men continue being pos.

I'm so sick of this bitch already. Please just make her go away. Every news site I look at has her name all over it. They report every time she takes a shit. Is this what we have to look forward to? What exactly has she done to deserve all this coverage? She's been in Congress 2 weeks and just spouts off her mouth.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | January 21, 2019 7:47 PM |
Didn't he smoke crack?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 21, 2019 7:59 PM |
R9 She's Hispanic ,young and liberal. The mainstream press is trying to make her into a star because of all those factors. Fucks News is trying to ridicule her on all those fronts. Most white guys I know want to pump her. Sorkin is just an annoying old fool.

Sorkin is ridiculous. He's completely ignoring what led to this new crop getting elected in the first place. I think this tweet pretty much nailed it:
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 21, 2019 8:03 PM |
Threatened might not be quite the correct word.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | January 21, 2019 8:07 PM |
He would still fuck her without a moment's hesitation.

The world that Sorkin portrays in his TV series, filled Democrats and Republicans who only want what is Good For The Country, with liberal and conservative politicians who reach a compromise just by sitting at a table, discussing with logic and Being Adults -- he probably thinks this world is true but we all know, today, that it is a lie and that is not how politics works. We all know that politicians (especially Republican politicians) are not in it to pursue compromise or Be Reasonable, but to win -- to win at all costs, including by cheating and lying.
AOC understands that what moves politicians and what engages voters is not Logic but ideology and emotion. As is to be expected, because politics is not about statistics and numbers but about improving people's lot - their ability to live with dignity, which is not something most of us are dispassionate about, especially in times of crisis.
By playing to people's emotions - especially the feelings of the poor and the middle class that they're victimized, that they're being wronged by a system that protects the interests of the mega-rich - AOC's doing far more to advance the cause of Democrats than any wonk politician has done.
To reiterate: We live in a Nietzschean world where what drives history is not, and has never been, logic and dialectics. It is, and has always been, passion and force. AOC didn't invent this. She merely recognizes this, she sees the world for what it is, whereas Sorkin is trying to live in a world that has never been. AOC is much more of a realist than Sorkin has ever been in his life.

Perhaps but only if she wouldn't talk. Listening to her voice would kill his boner.

Excellent post R15
The Aaron Sorkin of the world are the type of people that run The NY Times editorial page, where they think, “We just need another article where we can try to UNDERSTAND Trump’s voters”

He dated Kristin Chenoweth for years, I don't think an annoying voice is a dealbreaker for him.

It’s fucking hilarious how terrified the ruling class is of this Latina congresswoman from the Bronx. They’re TERRIFIED because she’s a socialist and she speaks the truth.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 21, 2019 9:38 PM |
It's the Howard Dean treatment. Let's over focus on her, make people sick of her and paint her as ridiculous.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 21, 2019 9:53 PM |
And because she got elected, R19.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | January 21, 2019 10:01 PM |
Applause for Miss R15!
