I was wondering how someone dies of a methamphetamine overdose when I first saw this story hit, but now that I read about the injection fetish it makes sense. Okay, I've been wondering if Buck did anything actually illegal, and well! There's an answer... or the rumor of a possible answer.

If it's true he was injecting these guys with possibly legal doses then it's murder of some degree or another, but proving it will be a bitch in court. Having local whores stand up in court and say that he injected them drugs does not prove that he injected them into the poor guys who died. If that place is indeed a drug den, as seems likely, then it's entirely possible that the guys injected themselves or were providing the drugs to Buck rather than the other way around. I doubt he'll ever be jailed for murder, or even tried for murder. The DA will probably try to get him on drugs charges, just to get rid of the problem.

I suppose that there exists a lethal dose of any drug - but methamphetamine is not an easy drug to OD on as a rule. Heroin would make a lot more sense in this narrative. A 55 year old man is not a vulnerable, young kid. Neither is the 28 year old who talks about his drugged up hookup with Buck. Neither was the 26 year old who died 18 months ago. There have been hundreds of homicide cases involving drug overdoses; in many cases, all the defendant did was share drugs. There is also a federal statute that makes dispensing a controlled substance that results in death or serious injury a crime.

It's upsetting when anyone finds drugs and/selling their bodies, to ease whatever psychological distress they may be feeling.

This reminds me of a case locally where a guy was into breath play and the cops ended up charging him with murder after he killed someone. He was acquitted, and a lot of people were angry because the victim was his female partner and they assumed it was murder.
