I didn’t watch SS, but the name sparked a memory. He was on the show Salvage 1 and played an astronaut and I definitely had a crush on him with his tight compact little body and golden locks. I was13 in 1979 when Salvage 1 was on and I’ve never heard of this show. It lasted a whole season and somehow I entirely missed its existence.

Joel Higgens and Franklyn Seales were very sexy men and Erin Gray was a pretty lady. Silver Spoons had the same writers from Married... with Children which is why it's still an enjoyable show and so very 80s. Alfonso's dancing and Ricky's computers and the Whitney Houston episode. I didn't watch it in reruns growing up but VH1 had "I Love the 80s..." which got me interested in it along with Small Wonder. Full House, Growing Pains and The Cosby Show got reran all the time.

The Cosby Show even had a 10th anniversary reunion special back in 2002.
