Sam Donaldson says CNN and Jim Acosta ARE suing and that he's been asked to give an affidavit for a Tuesday hearing. #reliablesources
BREAKING - CNN & Jim Acosta SUING The White House!
by Anonymous | reply 105 | November 16, 2018 7:06 PM |
Good. I hope the judge puts Acosta back in, but I’m scared it will be a Trumpy judge that hates the Constitution.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 11, 2018 3:48 PM |
Finally.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 11, 2018 3:49 PM |
Hilarious.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 11, 2018 3:49 PM |
Yes! Yes! Yes!
DUMP loves suing other people, now lets watch him get his ass sued and LOSE!!!
Fucking crybaby.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 11, 2018 3:49 PM |
Jim Acosta can sue all he wants. We have what really happened on tape:
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 11, 2018 3:51 PM |
It won't change anything... he'll spin it to his deplorable, but then he spins everything... what I like is the toll on the staff. That ugly Sanders pig must be nearing the exhaustion... Kellyanne too... getting biblical, let these fine Christians reap what they sow.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 11, 2018 3:52 PM |
He’ll never get that press pass back now.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 11, 2018 3:52 PM |
Goodness, Sam's Korean wig sure is shiny!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 11, 2018 3:53 PM |
Well the whole fucking world saw what actually happened before the right-wing website doctored the video and then the White House released the fake news video with a slanderous statement against Acosta's character and cancelled his access. Pretty strong case.
Good luck to him.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 11, 2018 3:55 PM |
Hopefully the free press is finally flexing their muscles.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 11, 2018 3:56 PM |
Sam is still around?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 11, 2018 3:57 PM |
[quote] I’m scared it will be a Trumpy judge that hates the Constitution.
Don't be scared. Well cross that bridge when we come to it.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 11, 2018 3:58 PM |
Can the White House be sued or is that a euphemism for Trump?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 11, 2018 5:01 PM |
Sam's hair belongs in the Smithsonian.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 11, 2018 5:26 PM |
High drama.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 11, 2018 6:02 PM |
This says it best.
White House press conferences are not supposed to be The Jim Acosta Show.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 11, 2018 6:50 PM |
Fuck off, r16
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 11, 2018 6:55 PM |
Acosta does not have the right to hijack press conferences and turn them into his own forum for lecturing the POTUS, R17.
Good riddance, Jim!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 11, 2018 6:58 PM |
Sam Donaldson looks like the animatronic Abe Lincoln at Disneyland.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 11, 2018 7:05 PM |
These threads are useful for blocking deplorable trolls.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 11, 2018 7:10 PM |
All this drama because of some silly mic.
Acosta needs to bring his own mic next time. Maybe a loudspeaker. And they should just send the rest of the reporters home - they ain't getting that mic as long as Acosta's there.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 11, 2018 7:12 PM |
[quote]Acosta does not have the right to hijack press conferences blah blah blah
I'll say this again - there have ALWAYS been reporters (usually TV reporters) at the White House who like attention and overstay their welcome and EVERY White House has learned how to deal with them without resorting to doctored videos and accusations of assault.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 11, 2018 7:17 PM |
Someone shoot Trump in his orange face.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 11, 2018 7:18 PM |
You can't win with Trump. When he loses, he lies and claims victory anyway and his base believes him.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 11, 2018 7:21 PM |
White House press conferences and press briefings are NOT a Donald Trump reality show and shouldn’t be used for the purpose of propaganda.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 11, 2018 7:29 PM |
The White House is not required to have press conferences. And Trump has only banned Acosta, not all of CNN. If CNN is really doing this, they need to stop it because Trump could just shut down press conferences completely.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 11, 2018 7:33 PM |
R26 wow like that would be a yuge loss.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 11, 2018 7:36 PM |
Lot of posts originating in Pskov on this thread.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 11, 2018 7:36 PM |
Acosta is not grandstanding.
And the only reason he "seems" to be, is because DUMP won't answer the fucking questions! He lies, lies, and lies. And when cornered about his lies, he runs away like a fucking coward.
That's why Acosta is so persistent. It's because he's DOING HIS JOB. And when he does his job, DUMP doesn't like it. So he bans Acosta from the White House.
Well fuck him. DUMP is trying to limit the freedom of the press, to bend to his will. I hope that Acosta wins, and gets right back in the White House, to torment the life out of the orange asshole.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 11, 2018 7:37 PM |
"BREAKING - CNN & Jim Acosta SUING The White House!"
Right On! Power to the People!
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 11, 2018 7:52 PM |
Every reporter in the pool should ask Acosta's question until it gets answered or his credentials are reinstated - nothing else, put it on repeat.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 11, 2018 8:22 PM |
I think reporters who ask 1 question then try to make it a 7 part question are rude. And it seems to happen to every president administration. What ticks me off is when they Get a answer that they can't answer that or they have no information about it then the reporter or a different one then ask the same question again in a different way like they were not listening or being stupid
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 11, 2018 8:26 PM |
I think presidents who lie and gaslight the American people are rude, r32.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 11, 2018 8:29 PM |
Let the treasonous cunt know he might be POTUS but he's NOT ABOVE THE FUCKING LAW
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 11, 2018 8:31 PM |
r32, what pisses me off is when there is a special event going on, like a foreign dignitary is visiting the US, and reporters ask questions which have nothing to do with the event. Acosta has been guilty of this more than once. It's done to try and embarrass the President and shows zero class.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 11, 2018 10:40 PM |
“You will talk about what dear leader tells you to talk about.”
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 11, 2018 10:46 PM |
Do we know if Mr. Sam Donaldson escorts? I'd pay extra for the "Affidavit Experience"
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 11, 2018 10:53 PM |
I hope at the very least that slop jawed garbage bag Sarah Huckabee Sanders ends up without a job, I enjoy imagining the expression on her sour face when Trump throws her under the nearest bus to save himself.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | November 11, 2018 11:12 PM |
Sarah, you all packed up, right?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 11, 2018 11:23 PM |
Sarah will always be able to get a job hog callin’ back gome in Arkansas
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 11, 2018 11:25 PM |
i dont believe the us or potus can recover from this creatures occuoany.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 11, 2018 11:33 PM |
That press conference had more drama and theatrics then a Meryl Streep and Glenn Close movie.
Only in the Trump white house.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 11, 2018 11:56 PM |
Sarah Huckabee Sanders is such a closet case dyke. And I say that with love.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 11, 2018 11:57 PM |
Thank God! What judge?
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 12, 2018 12:01 AM |
I believe there are a lot of lawsuits against Trump...am I wrong? I would like to sue him over the orphans he has created at the border. That is one of the worst things our government has ever done.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 12, 2018 12:04 AM |
R35 I am confused. What law did Trump break (I don't mean in a circumstance other than the press conference. I'm sure you could make a long list if given his entire presidency to draw from.) Anyone?
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 12, 2018 12:06 AM |
What a shit show.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | November 12, 2018 12:10 AM |
Those constant lies...do they ever take a toll on him.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | November 12, 2018 12:12 AM |
I hope that the next time Sanders waddles out to the podium and asks, "Any questions?", there is complete and utter silence.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 12, 2018 12:13 AM |
It’s not the media’s job to be polite. It’s their job to make government accountable under the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. The White House is not Trump’s property - it’s Government property. Any misstatement of fact by the President or any representative is a criminal act and the media should be way up their ass as it ranges from misdemenaor to felony.
There’s nothing trivial about what the President and his administration are doing. It’s no different than what Bush Reagan did under Iran-Contra or Nixon during Watergate. Lying to the people using official communication is a criminal act.
By filing an action and forcing the Administration to reopen the all the press, it forces the White House to stop the grandstanding it’s been engaging in. It may also force Congress to start hearings about violations of the Constitution by this Administration - which may well be impeachable offenses.
After what this sleazy fucker pulled today in France, I’m done. He belongs in prison.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | November 12, 2018 12:26 AM |
Indeed r51
by Anonymous | reply 52 | November 12, 2018 1:12 AM |

Not at all because he has no soul.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | November 12, 2018 2:54 AM |
Yes R35
Showing classiness in deference to the Liars is of utmost import
by Anonymous | reply 54 | November 12, 2018 3:36 AM |
Even if Jim was grandstanding (and I think he was), so? Trump refuses to answer his questions, so he should grandstand. Bring attention to this shit.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | November 12, 2018 3:51 AM |
And John Wayne had the nerve to disparag African Americans about being in positions of power.
Well say hello to Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush Jr, and Trump! All very horribly flawed presidents. With Trump being extremely unfit and completely incompetent among so many other things.
But white America is fine with that. Luckily for us john wayne is extremely dead.
Good riddance.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | November 12, 2018 4:02 AM |
Knock knock, R3. Secret Service at the door.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | November 12, 2018 4:11 AM |
[quote] It's done to try and embarrass the President and shows zero class.
Bitch, please. It's done because he rarely gives press conferences and when he does they are a chaotic mess. Jim Acosta and others should and do take any opportunity to ask him questions when they can and at least try to hold him accountable for his compulsive and dangerous lies.
[quote]shows zero class
You get what you give.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | November 12, 2018 4:38 AM |
Someone needs to tell Trump he is not king. And that the American constitution forbids it. He is a public servant as long as he's living in the white house. Which means he works for the American people and is supposed to answer to us.
I really wish one of these reporters had the balls to remind him of that very fact. Because I don't think he understands the position he holds at all.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | November 12, 2018 4:40 AM |
The White House accused him of assault and then put out a doctored video to justify their accusation. Then they used this video to justify basically removing him from his job as WH correspondent. He has a legitimate cause of action.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | November 12, 2018 4:51 AM |
[quote]Lot of posts originating in Pskov on this thread.

by Anonymous | reply 61 | November 12, 2018 4:54 AM |
If nothing else, doesn't Acosta have a case for slander and libel? They literally promoted a doctored video and then accused him of assaulting a women using that as proof. That slander/libel had the effect of costing him his current job.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | November 12, 2018 5:39 AM |
Many are of us are educated and learned foreign languages. Many of us served in the military. That we learned slavic languages like Russian does not mean we support Russia. If anything, we are more hostile to their historic interference in other countries domestic politics.
Education is indeed dangerous.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | November 12, 2018 5:44 AM |
Sam Donaldson's hair looks almost worse than The Donald's.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | November 12, 2018 5:46 AM |
[quote] If nothing else, doesn't Acosta have a case for slander and libel?
Trump should be sued for every slander and libel.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | November 12, 2018 5:59 AM |
Well R41 it is after all her families native language.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | November 12, 2018 9:49 AM |
LMAO at Sam Donaldson's gray wig
by Anonymous | reply 67 | November 12, 2018 10:03 AM |
What the fuck, R57?
by Anonymous | reply 68 | November 12, 2018 10:38 AM |
Petty just like tRump!
by Anonymous | reply 69 | November 12, 2018 10:52 AM |
It's not petty, it's libelous and probably a violation of the First Amendment.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | November 12, 2018 10:56 AM |
R68, I think he meant R23, not R3.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | November 13, 2018 7:43 AM |
He'd have a better case if he didn't touch the intern and refuse to give up the microphone. I give him a 50/50 chance of winning depending on what judge is assigned to the case. If the judge is a Democrat, he wins. If the judge is a Republican, he loses.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | November 13, 2018 2:08 PM |
The intern reached for him and the microphone and that's when their arms touched. That's not the same thing as "he touched the intern."
by Anonymous | reply 74 | November 13, 2018 4:17 PM |
A White House press pass is a privilege not a Constitutional right. We still have Free Speech and Freedom of the Press even if a private company like CNN has to find a new reporter to cover the White House.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | November 13, 2018 4:20 PM |
Oh do fuck off r73
by Anonymous | reply 76 | November 13, 2018 4:21 PM |
by Anonymous | reply 77 | November 13, 2018 4:23 PM |
White House @presssec has issued a statement calling the CNN lawsuit 'just more grandstanding.'
by Anonymous | reply 78 | November 13, 2018 4:26 PM |
Sam must have borrowed that wig from his old friend George Washington.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | November 13, 2018 5:43 PM |
He's just using one of Barbara Bush's old wigs.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | November 13, 2018 5:50 PM |
From what I've seen, legal experts tend to agree that CNN has an open-and-shut case, on First Amendment grounds, because the White House decision was arbitrary.
Oh, and Sam's hair has ALWAYS looked exactly that way, it just used to be jet black. The eyebrows are even more impressive.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | November 13, 2018 5:59 PM |
Meh, r81.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | November 13, 2018 6:11 PM |
Jim Acosta is haf. He could get in me any day he wants.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | November 13, 2018 6:18 PM |
Good. Go get them, Acosta.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | November 13, 2018 6:33 PM |
Not looking good for CNN:
"Update: The CNN lawsuit against Trump has been assigned to Judge Timothy J. Kelly, a Trump appointee who was a former counsel to Chuck Grassley."
by Anonymous | reply 85 | November 13, 2018 6:46 PM |
The judge will still have to follow precedent which clearly favors CNN and Acosta. (see the Slate article linked above)
by Anonymous | reply 86 | November 13, 2018 6:52 PM |
Well, a normal, reputable judge would follow precedent, but with these Trump appointees who knows?
by Anonymous | reply 87 | November 13, 2018 8:01 PM |
The judge's decision is delayed again, now scheduled for tomorrow morning
by Anonymous | reply 88 | November 15, 2018 5:44 PM |
Sam Donaldson.. wow.. a blast from the past.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | November 15, 2018 5:53 PM |
So did the judge ever rule? I thought it was supposed to happen at 10 AM ET? Or did it get delayed again?
by Anonymous | reply 92 | November 16, 2018 2:23 PM |
Finally the judge rules....judge rules for CNN
by Anonymous | reply 93 | November 16, 2018 2:33 PM |
The judge who ruled was a former GOP staffer and was appointed by Trump. Nice to see some people can still do country over party.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | November 16, 2018 2:41 PM |
It's a very narrow decision. It's probably not over.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | November 16, 2018 2:48 PM |
And you just know that he will never be called on to ask a question again and you just know that Acosta will ask one anyway.
by Anonymous | reply 96 | November 16, 2018 2:52 PM |
Has Trump tweeted yet?
by Anonymous | reply 97 | November 16, 2018 2:54 PM |
There wasn't any other way he could rule, unless he wanted this to go to the Supreme Court, and I'd bet even the GOP doesn't want that.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | November 16, 2018 2:55 PM |
I would love to see a Donald press conference in which Black women reporters and Jim Acosta are the only attendees. Take that, Tiny IQ45!
by Anonymous | reply 99 | November 16, 2018 3:05 PM |
Who is spamming up all the old gossip pages to distract from discussion of THIS?
by Anonymous | reply 100 | November 16, 2018 4:24 PM |
Sarah Sanders Responds to CNN Lawsuit: Jim Acosta’s Credential Will Be ‘Temporarily Restored’
by Anonymous | reply 101 | November 16, 2018 4:41 PM |
And I can now see other reporters not being happy with Acosta. According to the link at r101, the WH will institute rules, and I gather from the ruling that the only thing stopping him from being expelled was a lack of rules in the part of the WH. So now everyone is going to have to follow WH rules or run the risk of being expelled.
by Anonymous | reply 102 | November 16, 2018 4:52 PM |
Spamming old gossip threads, starting race bait threads, a new Mia Farrow thread of all things, all just to distract us from CNN winning.
CNN still won. Jim Acosta still won. Trump is still a full-time loser.
by Anonymous | reply 103 | November 16, 2018 4:53 PM |
Tiny has the nerve to mention decorum ("Oh look! I learned a new word."). I find his flunkies' screaming at the end of Donald press conferences "Let's go, press; move out," etc. as though herding sheep, highly disrespectful and offensive not only to the journalists, but to we the people.
by Anonymous | reply 104 | November 16, 2018 5:13 PM |
Wow, you are not lying about the trolls. The anti-trans trolls have even started bumping old threads that I swear they said had been deleted, because "the whole world is trying to censor them" or whatever. It's absolute chaos on the board right now, and I'm wondering if it's just this or if they're worried about Friday indictments.
