R18 here again. The 6 lamp version you’re looking at purchasing was intended as a central lighting source for a library table (I.e. it casts light in all directions).

The 3 lamp version I posted would go better on an end table or a sideboard next to a wall. Where are you thinking of placing it, OP?

I like the Tiffany-inspired lamp, but it has too many lights (I think the ones I've seen just have three flowers) and the colored shades are HID E OUS. If they had it in a frosted glass shade, that might look good.

And that price is no steal, either. You can find those on Amazon or LampsPlus.

White frosted glass would be more tasteful than color, but it's just not a design I like myself.

Honey, just get the lamp you like. The price is reasonable, it's not something that will make or ruin a room on its own, and its your house and you get to decorate it the way YOU like.

I find those lamps beyond hideous, but I’ve got lamps, art and more that others hate. And I’m not bothered at all. I’ve asked DL for advice, but I’d never ask DL to support or disapprove of my decor choices.

OP YES!!!!! I think it's beautiful. Artful, whimsical things like this lamp..for me, creates a feeling. I love the look of a few of these around my living room/bed room with the lights out. Creating a soft, warm magical glow. Listening to "These Dreams" by Heart. I like it, even just as an accent piece OP.
