And every politician in Pennsylvania said no, including the Mayor of Pittsburgh, who said there were funerals today and for the foreseeable future. He went anyway. He stopped by the synagogue to lay a stone by each star, and his wife carried a white wicker tray of flowers and laid a bud next to his stone. Jared and Ivanka standing by. Steve Mnuchin and Kelly accompanied him. The demonstrators marched quietly and sang songs of tribute in Hebrew to the deceased. It was very moving to watch the demonstrators.

I'm glad he went anyway. He looked like shit and he was so out of place it was awkward. It did him no good at all. he clearly did not get the kind of photo op he was hoping for since the media focused as much if not moreso on the demonstrators and barely split the screen for him. If I had been there I would have spit.
