Just watched "Entertaining Mr. Sloane" - stupid film, but such a hot guy (in a chav-ish sort of way). I see that he was a Disney actor in the 60s, but that he barely made any movies after this one - did it kill his career?
He had played the blackmailing lover of Dirk Bogarde in "Victim" in 1961, so I don't think playing gay killed his career. He also did a lot of theatre. His brother John was Mercutio in Zeffirelli's "Romeo and Juliet".

He was actually an accomplished Shakespearean stage actor. Since he started aging rapidly once he turned 30 (even in Mr Sloane he looks a bit rough in some of the close-ups) he probably just turned to stage once he wasn't fit for the roles of pretty young men on film anymore. It's interesting how similar this film is to Something for Everyone, which was released that same year. Even the endings are somewhat similar.
And I absolutely loved him in The Moon-Spinners with Hayley Mills. I'm sure every babygay who saw that film was lusting after him.

I can only comment that OP's GIF is very alluring.
