He is very charismatic onstage, very bland/Canadian in person. Not that that's a bad thing. He was incredible in the PHANTOM 25th Anniversary. He and Sierra sucked every ounce of drama and romance out of it and made it quite riveting. It really worked. No doubt he's 100% straight, despite his workout regimen. Apparently, Cameron Mackintosh told him if he got a Hugh Jackman body he could be the next Hugh so he took it to heart... and body. He still could break through, at least in theatre. I wouldn't be surprised if ALW did LOVE NEVER DIES on Broadway and gave him the lead (again).
