Why did Julia Ormond's career go straight down the shitter?

After Sabrina and Smilas Sense of Snow her career started to wane. I also happen to know she looked older than her age even twenty years ago. She looked so old on Made Men recently and she isnt that old.

For some reason, I never liked her.

Difficult to work with. Apparently she liked to rewrite the scripts of the films she was in which drove everyone mad. She was also one of the original "Harvey Girls".

But kudos to her for aging without going overboard with beauty procedures. She still looks like herself.

She wasn't all that. Totally miscast for Sabrina. People never really cared about her, so no one was clamoring for a "Julia Ormond flick."

Sabrina got the full PR treatment. Ormand was on the cover of the Sunday NYT magazine when that still mattered.

Then the movie tanked. Harrison Ford and Sydney Pollack weren’t about to take the blame for its failure, so the industry threw her under the bus.

She was a little different than anyone else in the business at that point and should have had a career.

Greg Kinnear was the only part of Sabrina that worked.

I enjoyed Ormond on Mad Men. Wasn't she also Emmy-nominated for "Temple Grandin"? A movie that any non-fan of Claire Danes should stay far, far away from.

But this clip made me realize that I've been pronouncing her last name incorrectly this whole time - I thought it was Órmond, but apparently it's Ormónd.
