This has got to be the most despicable shit I've seen in, oh, the last 24 hours.
Who's watching the Kavanaugh swearing-in ceremony?
by Anonymous | reply 79 | October 10, 2018 11:26 PM |
Women love Kavanaugh!
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 9, 2018 12:14 AM |
Trump said he was proven innocent. Kavanaugh looked smug as fuck!
Trump thanked McConnell and Grassley
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 9, 2018 12:16 AM |
Yuck
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 9, 2018 12:16 AM |
I would watch if I thought he would fall over from a heart attack during the ceremony.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 9, 2018 12:16 AM |
I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM. I HATE THEM.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 9, 2018 12:18 AM |
Did Trump not get his two scoops tonight? He seems rather subdued and calm.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 9, 2018 12:18 AM |
This is so fucking awkward. The looks on the faces of the other justices - like they smell shit. Everyone in the room knows Kavanaugh is a complete liar.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 9, 2018 12:19 AM |
They are trying to provoke violene.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 9, 2018 12:19 AM |
Apparently there's a party over at Squi's after this is over
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 9, 2018 12:20 AM |
He named his daughter LIZA with a "Z"...
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 9, 2018 12:20 AM |
WHERE THE FUCK IS WHEEL OF FORTUNE?!?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 9, 2018 12:21 AM |
Is this the first supreme court justice swearing in ceremony done in prime time?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 9, 2018 12:21 AM |
Those daughters are homely and his wife is dour
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 9, 2018 12:22 AM |
You should see his swearing-in his drunken state.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 9, 2018 12:22 AM |
R8 Did you mean violin or violence?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 9, 2018 12:23 AM |
This isn’t the real swearing in. That was already done on Saturday. This is the Trump reality show version.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 9, 2018 12:23 AM |
Is that Justice Thomas in the front row?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 9, 2018 12:24 AM |
I likes the women. I always hire the women.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 9, 2018 12:24 AM |
Is he going to thank Mark and PJ?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 9, 2018 12:24 AM |
Squi gets a shout out
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 9, 2018 12:25 AM |
cough cough… MAJOR DOUCHE… cough cough...
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 9, 2018 12:25 AM |
Is Violene the 10th Justice on the court?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 9, 2018 12:25 AM |
I bet CBF is sitting at home wondering why the fuck did I bother.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 9, 2018 12:26 AM |
He LOVES his friends. Think he paid them off?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 9, 2018 12:26 AM |
Don't get too scared, but RBG looks like she was wheeled in from assisted living. Stay strong, Ruth.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 9, 2018 12:26 AM |
How many pages is his speech anyway? I guess he wrote it himself.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 9, 2018 12:26 AM |
I love my friends, their friends, my frends friends, all friends, friends, fiends...
What a fucking idiot.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 9, 2018 12:27 AM |
Thomas looks like he needs to get to the men’s room right away.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 9, 2018 12:27 AM |
Excuse the fuck out of me for forgetting the fucking c.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 9, 2018 12:28 AM |
Finally, a rapist on the SC!
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 9, 2018 12:29 AM |
I will be devoted to equal justice under the law. ( 'course, some are more equal than others.)
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 9, 2018 12:30 AM |
This is now cutting into FUCKING JEOPARDY!
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 9, 2018 12:30 AM |
Finally, a BFF on the court.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 9, 2018 12:31 AM |
I feel sorry for the daughters.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 9, 2018 12:32 AM |
Wow, retired justice Kennedy does not look happy. Walking down the hall wagging his finger at Trump.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 9, 2018 12:32 AM |
So Trump basically called CBF a liar (“lies and deception”) and Kavanaugh is touting his impartiality and expects us to believe he is a champion of women. GASLIGHTING.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 9, 2018 12:35 AM |
R26 RBG is all bent over and can barely walk. Thoughts and prayers..
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 9, 2018 12:39 AM |
Waiters and kitchen staff in the DC area, please do your duty and spit in every plate this enemy of working Americans orders for the rest of his life
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 9, 2018 12:39 AM |
He’s going to be another partisan Clarence Thomas, voting the GOP line. Anything protecting the common worker/consumer/person will be gone. It’s a sad day.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 9, 2018 12:39 AM |
Agree r40
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 9, 2018 12:41 AM |
R38 I think we might need to pull a "Weekend At Bernie's" to keep her around until the next Democrat president. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 9, 2018 12:44 AM |
Maybe I'm not so bad now, hey guys?
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 9, 2018 12:44 AM |
Trump is appalling. But you know what? It should be good for motivating Democrats to the polls. And he'll do twenty things as offensive or worse before Election Day.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 9, 2018 12:52 AM |
Pretty much, R44. There is definitely more time for Trump to be Trump. And he cannot stop being Trump.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | October 9, 2018 12:53 AM |
He's now probably headed over to Timmy's for skis
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 9, 2018 12:55 AM |
[quote] Maybe I'm not so bad now, hey guys?—Sammy Alito
You're horrible for the gays. You always vote 100% against the expansion of their rights.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 9, 2018 12:56 AM |
Was Melania there or was she upstairs trying out her voodoo doll?
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 9, 2018 12:56 AM |
Are you a masochist, OP? Why would anyone in their right mind watch that?
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 9, 2018 12:57 AM |
[quote]Was Melania there or was she upstairs trying out her voodoo doll?
I saw something earlier to say she would not be there, but never clicked to see why. She is probably busy cleaning her colonial explorer role play outfits she wore in Africa.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | October 9, 2018 12:59 AM |
It delayed my Wheel of Fortune. I'm pissed and going to vote Dem even more in November.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | October 9, 2018 12:59 AM |
Did anyone see "First Monday in October" with Jill Clayburgh?
Is it worth watching?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 9, 2018 1:01 AM |
I never get hired at the job interviews where I cry and tell them how much I like beer.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | October 9, 2018 1:05 AM |
He looked smug but also looked like he got a deserved smack down .....majority didn’t want him confirmed and believed CBF and half though he lied about his drinking
by Anonymous | reply 54 | October 9, 2018 1:56 AM |
It was a partisan shitshow. Trump thanked all the Republicans who ignored their oaths and voted for a man who lied under oath. It's really sad that now the Supreme Court like the Senate is just another Trump Kool-Aid Republican institution. How is anyone supposed to have confidence that they will rule fairly? They will happily keep the momentum going to consolidate wealth and fuck up the environment. Gays and women are fucked.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | October 9, 2018 2:04 AM |
He boasted that he hired all females for clerks....awkward
by Anonymous | reply 56 | October 9, 2018 2:07 AM |
R55 Don’t forget people of color and recent immigrants
by Anonymous | reply 57 | October 9, 2018 2:07 AM |
Yep, basically anyone who is not a Republican white male with wealth (or his subservient white wife who stays in the kitchen and has babies and does not express an opinion) is fucked. I expect to see a civil war in my lifetime - red vs. blue - because things are only going to get worse.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | October 9, 2018 2:11 AM |
Didn't Obama have any window of time in his presidency to push RBG to retire so a younger person could replace her??
by Anonymous | reply 59 | October 9, 2018 2:14 AM |
Don't you think the Republicans are living in a fantasy land to think Brett was not guilty? He is the white OJ.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 9, 2018 2:15 AM |
Did anyone else notice Dump and Kennedy after this farce? They walked up the corridor together, and Kennedy seemed kind of steamed about something, words were exchanged, they stopped for a moment and Kennedy pointed his finger at Dump while speaking, Dump made a reply, and then they exited stage left. (I was watching MSNBC.)
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 9, 2018 2:18 AM |
I think Brett is in denial. He knows he did it but is too ashamed to admit it because it would hurt his family and career.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | October 9, 2018 2:18 AM |
R48 yes her voodoo doll in the image of decent people everywhere. PLEASE don't try to make her one of the good guys.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | October 9, 2018 2:19 AM |
Kennedy probably told him there was no finding of innocence and he is an idiot.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | October 9, 2018 2:20 AM |
Oh look, Drumpf lied again, "found innocent"? not hardly.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | October 9, 2018 2:22 AM |
I'm the one in denial.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | October 9, 2018 2:25 AM |
Kennedy probably said, "Don't ever invite me again to one of your KKK rallies, bitch."
by Anonymous | reply 67 | October 9, 2018 2:30 AM |
[quote]Didn't Obama have any window of time in his presidency to push RBG to retire so a younger person could replace her??
Generally, Presidents have been pretty careful in their communications with sitting Supreme Court Justices. Obama would never have suggested such a thing and RBG would probably have found the suggestion improper had he done so.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | October 9, 2018 2:32 AM |
Plus, I think they assumed Clinton would appoint the next justices.
Not to mention the fact, that Obama was unable to get a justice appointed his entire last year.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | October 9, 2018 2:36 AM |
Except for Roberts, the Supreme Court justices looked very uncomfortable. They are supposed to be impartial, not props at a Republican thanking session.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | October 9, 2018 2:39 AM |
Trump apologized to Kavanaugh for the Democratic hoax perpetrated against him at the confirmation hearing.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | October 9, 2018 2:42 AM |
The whole thing was weird. It seemed tailored for Fox News - it was highly partisan - rather than the entire country. But Fox News is Trump's official TV platform, especially with his whore Hope Hicks now ensconced there. Trump is creating a fantasy America where Republicans are the only real Americans.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | October 9, 2018 2:47 AM |
Trump has NO intention of bridging the great divide or healing the nation. He's relentless and I hope the Dems NEVER EVER forget.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | October 9, 2018 2:51 AM |
I hope good old Brett screws Trump when his corruption case works its way to the SC. After all, the appointment is for life so there is nothing Trump could do about it.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | October 9, 2018 7:55 AM |
r11 Wheel of Fortune was on, I actually flipped it to that so I wouldn't have to watch
by Anonymous | reply 75 | October 9, 2018 10:55 AM |
Except for Clarence Thomas - that was one white looking crowd.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | October 9, 2018 1:11 PM |
Brett also now knows that the ABA and every respectable law school in the country thinks he's shit.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | October 9, 2018 1:17 PM |
Said he takes the position without bitterness ...haaaaaahaaaaaaahaaaaa
by Anonymous | reply 78 | October 9, 2018 11:44 PM |
^^^ you know he’ll get his sweet revenge.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | October 10, 2018 11:26 PM |
