Just in time for Jane Meyer and Ronan Farrow.
*BREAKING* KAVANAUGH REVEALED TO BE FIENDISH SEX PUTZ (PART 3)
by Anonymous | reply 406 | September 27, 2018 1:10 PM |
Brett Kavanaugh’s Dildo Diaries.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | September 24, 2018 12:13 AM |
So does Ronan have more accusers?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 24, 2018 12:13 AM |
It’s kind of brilliant to drop this right before a new news cycle begins tomorrow. Avenatti always delivers on his TV statements.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 24, 2018 12:16 AM |
This story is crazy. I can't wait for the eventual movie.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 24, 2018 12:18 AM |
What happened to the stories about Kavanaugh getting other people to pay his gambling debts?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | September 24, 2018 12:18 AM |
Kavanaugh seems like the kind of guy to keep a separate social calendar for his sexual assaults.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 24, 2018 12:19 AM |
When I google, the links to this story all go to right-wing sites, no doubt because Drudge is the original source. But it's presumably what Avenatti tweeted obliquely about. We can expect a story from Ronan and Meyer tomorrow about another woman who claims that Kavanaugh assaulted her with a dildo, or something like that. I hope it's an event from his more recent past, like while he's been a judge (one of his "model gorgeous" clerks?) or, even better, while he was formulating salacious questions for Bill Clinton during the Ken Starr nonsense.
Listen to me, speculating recklessly here!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 24, 2018 12:19 AM |
The story is out tomorrow not tonight?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 24, 2018 12:20 AM |
R7, Zika Bash probably held the female victim down for him, Serena Joy style.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | September 24, 2018 12:21 AM |
R8 No one knows when it will drop...just that it is coming in the real near future
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 24, 2018 12:22 AM |
Avenatti on Twitter tonight: “I do not bluff. I deliver. #Basta”
by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 24, 2018 12:24 AM |
Time for Avenatti to put up or shut up.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 24, 2018 12:26 AM |
So....who was Number 2 on the GOP's list of nominees? Time to start checking them out.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 24, 2018 12:26 AM |
A new twist? I had hopes that Ronan & Jane had gone underground to get a fuller story. They dropped information very early on about this. So much has happened since then I almost wondered if I imagined it. And then they seemingly disappeared.
I hope this is why.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 24, 2018 12:30 AM |
Amy Coney Barrett was one of Trump's three finalists for the SC. She'd be a nice replacement choice as a sop to women and because she's unlikely to have sexually assaulted anyone in her youth or since. The third one was Raymond Kethledge, a University of Michigan BA and JD.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 24, 2018 12:32 AM |
If it has Ronan's name on it, it will be a solid report. It's a good thing he's got a track record of excellence that he can point to. It'll be all that much harder to poke holes in his research.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 24, 2018 12:34 AM |
Is Kavanaugh finished?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | September 24, 2018 12:35 AM |
R17 Depends on what he did with the dildo
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 24, 2018 12:36 AM |
What's the name of that high-ranking lawyer who quit his job and just joined Ford's team? Maybe this is part of the reason why he agreed to ditch his job. It doesn't seem likely that he'd do that just for the sake of a 1 day hearing.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 24, 2018 12:38 AM |
Okay, Avenatti just put out info that he's got a credible witness on Kavanaugh and Judge - but it doesn't sound like what Ronan is going to present.
So does that mean there are now THREE woman instead of just Ford?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 24, 2018 12:40 AM |
@MichaelAvenatti I represent a woman with credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify. The nomination must be withdrawn. 7:33 PM · Sep 23, 2018
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 24, 2018 12:41 AM |
This is getting good!
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 24, 2018 12:42 AM |
Kavanaugh's chances of being a SCOTUS justice are falling by the minute. Soon his chances of retaining his seat on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals will be in jeopardy. He should have had Trump withdraw his SCOTUS nomination while he still had a chance to maintain his reputation. Couldn't happen to a more deserving partisan hack.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 24, 2018 12:42 AM |
Oy. Avenatti. I don't think GOP will be too keen on him adding a parade of accusers for Thursday hearing.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 24, 2018 12:45 AM |
The pieces of shit who call themselves Repig Senators will not stall the proceedings. It’s so criminal and yet they get away with it.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 24, 2018 12:46 AM |
So... I’m a bit confused. Is it only Drudge saying that Ronan is working a story on Kavanaugh?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 24, 2018 12:50 AM |
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 24, 2018 12:54 AM |
No R26, Yashar Ali and others have as well.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 24, 2018 12:55 AM |
Thanks, R28... just got back from a short trip and trying to catch up! I think Kavanaugh just should step aside. If he’s that upstanding why would he put his family through this? Oh yeah... cause HE’S NOT.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 24, 2018 12:59 AM |
The Senate will refuse Avenatti. Then he will call and press conference and put it all out there.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 24, 2018 12:59 AM |
Sidenote, I like Yashar Ali. He always has seemed good to follow on Twitter
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 24, 2018 12:59 AM |
[R17] Depends on what he did with the dildo
Is that a disqualifying offense now? Cuz...
by Anonymous | reply 33 | September 24, 2018 1:00 AM |
Spoiler: No dildo
by Anonymous | reply 34 | September 24, 2018 1:01 AM |
Tune into MSNBC now! Ronan Farrow story is being revealed right now!!!!
Another allegation of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh, this time from a woman who knew him in college.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | September 24, 2018 1:02 AM |
Yale classmate says he was drunk at a dormitory party, exposed himself, shoved hiw penis in his face, forcing her to swat it away . She is asking FBI to invesitage her charges. 1983-84
by Anonymous | reply 36 | September 24, 2018 1:04 AM |
Not another attempted rape but he apparently exposed himself to this young woman.
Damn.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | September 24, 2018 1:04 AM |
Who is it that says "Everything Trump Touches Dies"? Cause that basically is now summing up Kavanaugh.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | September 24, 2018 1:04 AM |
It's in the New Yorker. Democrats are investigation this new allegation of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh.
I don't know if this is connected to the Avenatti thing.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | September 24, 2018 1:06 AM |
I hope Kavenaugh winds up having to apply for a job at a donut shop.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | September 24, 2018 1:07 AM |
I mean "Democrats are investigating..." in my post above.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | September 24, 2018 1:07 AM |
R39- Wouldn't Avenatti and Ronan be working on two different stories?
So there's even MORE coming. I wonder if that Thursday hearing is still on??
by Anonymous | reply 42 | September 24, 2018 1:08 AM |
Kavanaugh is flatly denying new allegation (Liar!)
Kaci is saying that Republicans KNEW about this new allegation and just kept plowing ahead with his nomination.
Bastards.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | September 24, 2018 1:09 AM |
Avenatti says this is not his client.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | September 24, 2018 1:09 AM |
Oh boy, so there's MORE to come...
by Anonymous | reply 45 | September 24, 2018 1:10 AM |
There is what she describes a plastic penis in the story.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | September 24, 2018 1:10 AM |
R40- I think when all this is through, he'll be lucky to get a job at a donut shop.
That whole Whelan thing smacked of total desperation, so they all must have known Ford wasn't the only one. There's never just "one sexual assault" in these cases.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | September 24, 2018 1:11 AM |
Gross behavior, though not as bad as Ford's allegations. But certainly destroys his "I would NEVER!" crap.
But holy shit, Mark Judge. No wonder he refused to testify. Having to testify about this story plus his own writings about his nasty blackout assholery would have ruined him.
Everything Trump touches, even through 3rd parties, dies.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | September 24, 2018 1:11 AM |
r46, that explains the "dildo" thing people were talking about.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | September 24, 2018 1:12 AM |
Could she describe it in detail? Length, girth, cut, uncut, veiny, smooth? I really think it’s important that we know.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | September 24, 2018 1:12 AM |
I hope Kavenaugh winds up having to apply for a job at a donut shop.
Well, he can still coach that basketball team. Oh...wait... AMBER ALERT!!
by Anonymous | reply 51 | September 24, 2018 1:12 AM |
I'm on the fence about how damaging this new allegation is. She says he exposed himself but Ronan admits "The New Yorker has not confirmed with other eyewitnesses that Kavanaugh was present at the party." and "Ramirez acknowledged that there are significant gaps in her memories". Sounds very similar to the first allegation where it's a he said/she said with no eyewitnesses coming forward. Only third parties who heard about it.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | September 24, 2018 1:12 AM |
Maybe a dildonut shop, r40...
by Anonymous | reply 53 | September 24, 2018 1:13 AM |
Her name is Demi Ramirez, she lives in Boulder, Colorado, says it happened while she was at Yale University between 1983 and 1987.
Kavanaugh, you in danger girl!
by Anonymous | reply 54 | September 24, 2018 1:14 AM |
R50 That reminds me. Didn't the police look at Michael Jackson's penis after the first (?) child molestation accusation to see if it matched the description given to them by the accuser?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | September 24, 2018 1:14 AM |
Wow, can’t believe they are reporting all this explicit smutty stuff with so little details or corroboration.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | September 24, 2018 1:14 AM |
Maybe Cocaine Mitch will need to look at Kavanaugh's penis to see if it matches her description
by Anonymous | reply 57 | September 24, 2018 1:15 AM |
If this is true, it can’t be the only time it happened.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | September 24, 2018 1:16 AM |
R52- I think it's enough. It shows a pattern of behavior.
I wonder if they're busy creating calendar pages for 1983-1987?
by Anonymous | reply 59 | September 24, 2018 1:16 AM |
Lindsey Graham wants that job, R59!
by Anonymous | reply 60 | September 24, 2018 1:16 AM |
What kind of fucking weirdo would keep 35 year old calendars? No one, that's who.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | September 24, 2018 1:18 AM |
There's more to come. Avenatti has a client with allegations he specifically said is not Ramirez.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | September 24, 2018 1:19 AM |
It continues to escalate....Grassley releases mostly unredacted letter Ford initially wrote to Feinstein, which he has been demanding for last several days. Feinstein asked him not to release it publicly.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | September 24, 2018 1:20 AM |
And now Avenatti supposedly has something coming out soon too...
How long before the Repubs decide Kavanaugh just aint worth it anymore?
by Anonymous | reply 65 | September 24, 2018 1:21 AM |
r54 here, sorry, I got her name wrong. Her name is Debi (Deborah) Ramirez, not Demi.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | September 24, 2018 1:22 AM |
I’m not sure I get the dildo reference but all of this news is a dream come true..
by Anonymous | reply 67 | September 24, 2018 1:22 AM |
"So is there a freshman year calendar?"
Hahahahhahahaha!!
by Anonymous | reply 68 | September 24, 2018 1:23 AM |
r65, when they're confident the FBI can no longer follow the paper trail of decades of "donations" and money laundering that has flowed between the GOP and and Moscow mobsters. In other words: never.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | September 24, 2018 1:24 AM |
The best thing would be if it was a hooker/dominatrix who Kavanaugh asked to use a dildo on him.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | September 24, 2018 1:24 AM |
Rick Wilson just said- "Tomorrow. Brace for impact."
WTF does THAT mean??
by Anonymous | reply 71 | September 24, 2018 1:25 AM |
I want KavaNO to be completely and totally humiliated, and I would love for him to have to not only withdraw from consideration as a Supreme Court justice, but to resign his seat on the D.C. Circuit as well. However, I would also love for this to play out for a week or more to demonstrate to voters how despicable and sleazy the Repukes are. AND, for the Dems to try and delay the inevitable hearings on the new nominee as long as possible. It took six weeks to get KavaNO ready for his hearings. We are only five weeks away from the mid-terms.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | September 24, 2018 1:25 AM |
Is it true there wouldn’t be enough time to nominate and have hearings for a new SC justice before the midterms?
by Anonymous | reply 73 | September 24, 2018 1:26 AM |
r70, no, something more along the lines of Christian Bale's shitrag would the nail in the coffin.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | September 24, 2018 1:26 AM |
Christian Bale's shitrag? Intrigued.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | September 24, 2018 1:28 AM |
r71, maybe Brett is also a serial killer. I can easily see him having left a trail of strippers with broken necks in parking lots.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | September 24, 2018 1:28 AM |
r75=n00b
by Anonymous | reply 77 | September 24, 2018 1:28 AM |
MSNBC is the only one reporting this. CNN is covering Tiger Woods golf win and Fox New is blathering about Bork.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | September 24, 2018 1:29 AM |
Mark Krasberg, a member of Kavanaugh and Ramirez's class, told New Yorker Kavanaugh's behavior at Yale had become a topic of discussion among former students after his nomination. In one e-mail, a classmate recalled hearing about the incident with Ramirez.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | September 24, 2018 1:29 AM |
"It's going to be interesting to see what kind of pictures Ed Whelan posts to find Kavanaugh's doppelganger in this new story." - Tom Nichols.
Tom is the best :)
by Anonymous | reply 80 | September 24, 2018 1:32 AM |
R79- This sounds a lot more convincing than a calendar page from 1982.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | September 24, 2018 1:33 AM |
R71 Probably a reference to Avenatti's interview with Chris Cuomo set to air tomorrow
by Anonymous | reply 82 | September 24, 2018 1:35 AM |
I do find it odd that Avenatti is saying he has "credible information" and not a "credible accusation"
by Anonymous | reply 83 | September 24, 2018 1:36 AM |
I am going to assume Rick WIlson is speculating how wired the Resident will be tomorrow on Twitter due to Kavanaugh news
by Anonymous | reply 84 | September 24, 2018 1:36 AM |
So with 2 accusers and one more to come - what does the GOP do now? "Plow ahead"? Convince Kavanaugh to step down for the good of the party? Delay the hearing so they can come up with more "theories" or calendar pages??
by Anonymous | reply 85 | September 24, 2018 1:41 AM |
r72, six weeks. six.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | September 24, 2018 1:44 AM |
I wouldn’t count on Avenatti producing anything. Didn’t he have other women who were going to come forward about Trump or something and then nothing?
by Anonymous | reply 87 | September 24, 2018 1:44 AM |
Forbes lays out nicely the GOP's massive failures in handling this.
by Anonymous | reply 88 | September 24, 2018 1:45 AM |
@maggieNYT Per people in contact with him, Trump was briefed earlier today on the allegations in the New Yorker piece. Per one person briefed on the discussions, Trump said this is why they should have been fighting the Ford allegations from the beginning.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | September 24, 2018 1:48 AM |
[R72], six weeks. six.
...would be the new legal cut-off for abortions, if Brett was given a throne on the Supreme Court.

Li'l Brett's freshman year roommate (he was in a suite with only one other person): "He said that he never witnessed Kavanaugh engage in any sexual misconduct, but did recall him being 'frequently, incoherently drunk.'"
by Anonymous | reply 91 | September 24, 2018 1:50 AM |
R89, MAGA Haberman can always be counted on to put out the spin exactly as Trump wants it.
R72/R86, I bet they've had a back-up nominee prepping just in case. If Kavanaugh withdraws, you can bet they will rush whomever is named to replace him. And they'll be a huge GOTV push to get their base to punish the Dems for Kavanaugh's implosion.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | September 24, 2018 1:52 AM |
@maggieNYT Per people in contact with him, Trump was briefed earlier today on the allegations in the New Yorker piece. Per one person briefed on the discussions, Trump said this is why they should have been fighting the Ford allegations from the beginning.
I would like to say that we will never see the likes of [italic]this[/italic] in the White House again, but I don't know if I believe that.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | September 24, 2018 1:52 AM |
R79- So this was talked about in email and Mark Kasberg seems to validate that Kavanaugh exhibited this kind of behavior? No wonder the GOP didn't want witnesses at this hearing.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | September 24, 2018 1:56 AM |
I just read on Twitter that the Repubs knew about this second woman last week which was why they were trying to rush the hearing thru with no witnesses. how much lower do you think the republicans can go?
by Anonymous | reply 95 | September 24, 2018 1:56 AM |
How long before Sen. Collins runs to the press and complains Grassley tricked her into agreeing to a rushed hearing the way McConnell tricked her into voting for the tax cuts?
by Anonymous | reply 96 | September 24, 2018 1:58 AM |
r95, don't overestimate their integrity, ability to feel shame or comprehension of common decency.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | September 24, 2018 1:59 AM |
So are they still going to plow through and confirm this sleaze?
by Anonymous | reply 98 | September 24, 2018 2:10 AM |
Avenatti tells @PaulaReidCBS that the woman he’s representing knew Kavanaugh in high school—which means her story is not in tonight’s New Yorker piece, which focuses on an accusation against Kavanaugh while he was a student at Yale.
I guess we'll be seeing Kavanaugh's calendar from high school now?
by Anonymous | reply 99 | September 24, 2018 2:11 AM |
Rick Wilson is hinting about something for tomorrow.
by Anonymous | reply 100 | September 24, 2018 2:17 AM |
Why the coy hints? Just spill it.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | September 24, 2018 2:18 AM |
I take Avenatti with a grain of salt. He's desperately trying to be a viable Dem candidate in 2020. He's so serious he was trashing Beto O'Rourke after the debate on Friday because he's figured out Beto's the frontrunner now for the Dem nom.
by Anonymous | reply 103 | September 24, 2018 2:21 AM |
A gang rape was detailed in the Ronan article, connected with Kavanaugh's hs buddy Mark Judge: "Rasor stressed that “under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t reveal information that was told in confidence,” but, she said, “I can’t stand by and watch him lie.” In an interview with The New Yorker, she said, “Mark told me a very different story.” Rasor recalled that Judge had told her ashamedly of an incident that involved him and other boys taking turns having sex with a drunk woman. Rasor said that Judge seemed to regard it as fully consensual."
by Anonymous | reply 104 | September 24, 2018 2:22 AM |
Whoa! Gang rape?! Gamechanger.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | September 24, 2018 2:24 AM |
Shit, one if it turns out this is the tip of the iceberg. It's bigger than Kavanaugh, there is a slew of sexual assault/rape cases by the same group of boys from this school. This becomes a domino effect.
by Anonymous | reply 106 | September 24, 2018 2:25 AM |
Between all this and the possible connection of Kavanaugh to the Whelan alt-theory that imploded, it is likely to be too much for him to hang on.
by Anonymous | reply 107 | September 24, 2018 2:26 AM |
Talk about deep state sounds pretty hollow compared to this.

by Anonymous | reply 113 | September 24, 2018 2:38 AM |
Whoa. Avenatti has evidence Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge engaged in the "targeting of women with alcohol/drugs in order to allow a 'train' of men to subsequently gang rape them."
by Anonymous | reply 114 | September 24, 2018 2:42 AM |
Gang rape? OMG. Like to see Whelan come up with floor plans to explain this.
by Anonymous | reply 115 | September 24, 2018 2:43 AM |
Well, if Avenatti has evidence of gang rape and Ronan's article has the same with that ex-gf of Judge, I'd say that's Game. Set. Match.

by Anonymous | reply 124 | September 24, 2018 2:55 AM |
This explains that leak about how BK didn't want to answer ANY questions of a sexual nature in his mock hearing run-through at the WH.
Yeah, I can see now why he didn't.
by Anonymous | reply 125 | September 24, 2018 2:56 AM |

R132, when he drops dead. They need a majority vote in the House to impeach (possible) and a 2/3 majority vote in the Senate to convict him (not happening).
by Anonymous | reply 135 | September 24, 2018 3:24 AM |
The GOP should have forseen this. Once one woman comes forward, it breaks the dam. There's no way a teenage boy is going to stop at just ONE sex assault if that's what he's inclined to do. But even they must be a little surprised that gang rape would come into it.
by Anonymous | reply 136 | September 24, 2018 3:24 AM |
Worth noting as background that Kavanaugh's drinking at Yale would have been legal, since although the CT drinking age had recently changed, he was grandfathered in.

by Anonymous | reply 151 | September 24, 2018 5:38 AM |
r150, no I'm fully aware of how angry people in this country are. I'm also aware that 75% of that rage is directed towards women and that most straight men and many gay men and many women, for that matter, don't consider women to be actual human beings. All you need as evidence of that is to look at the fact that the GOP thought they could brush off the brutal attack of a young girl because they knew people wouldn't really give a shit. As I said previously, it takes at least 4 women to make water tight accusations for the claims of any of them to be taken seriously at all. So here we are. Brett was nominated to strip women of their personhood because women's autonomy dangles on a reversible legal precedent rather than being codified into the constitution. You will be dangerously disappointed if you assume this takedown of Brett is really about people being up in arms that women were assaulted rather than what it is: the last thing they could try to stop him with, the hail mary.

At least half a dozen federal court employees have stories to share, says attorney.
Brett Kavanaugh is Donald Trump’s pick for the SCOTUS seat vacated by Justice Anthony Kennedy, and he’s increasingly surrounded by controversy. After a woman who says Kavanaugh attempted to rape her in high school came forward to share her story, an attorney is sharing a letter he says he sent to Senators in July, letting them know that federal court employees also have concerns.
Multiple court employees approached attorney Cyrus Sanai, he says, to share concerns and stories before the confirmation of Kavanaugh. In a July letter, Sanai informed senators Chuck Grassley and Diane Feinstein that these individuals wanted to share their concerns, but were afraid of retaliation.

I actually believe this could be true. Trump has just been going off a list supplied to him by a conservative group. I don't think he put much independent thought or work into this selection. That would require work and time and reading. I also think since things have come to light they have made sure that Trump has had some distance from Kavanaugh and have not had them meet personally.

Avenatti tells Politico he represents a group of individuals who can corroborate allegations involving Kavanaugh and his longtime friend in the 1980s.
Avenatti said he’d describe just one of the individuals as a victim.
“She will testify,” he said. “But before she does, she will likely appear on camera for an interview.”
He said the others were witnesses to the allegations. Avenatti would not elaborate on the number of clients but said he represents them alone.
“I represent multiple clients, they are witnesses. I’m representing multiple individuals that have knowledge of this, there’s no other attorneys involved." Asked if the witnesses attended Georgetown Prep’s sister school, he said they went beyond that. “They went to schools in the same general areas. These house parties were widely attended.”

Investigators in Montgomery County confirmed Monday they’re aware of a potential second sexual assault complaint in the county against former Georgetown Prep student and Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
While investigators weren’t specific and spoke on background, they said they are looking at allegations against Kavanaugh during his senior year in high school after an anonymous witness came forward this weekend.
This would potentially bring the number to four women accusing Kavanaugh of wrongdoing and comes after Deborah Ramirez, a former Yale college student, stepped forward this weekend to accuse Kavanaugh of exposing himself to her in college, and after attorney Michael Avenatti tweeted out a message saying he represents a woman with “credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge.”

I posted this in the other thread, just bits and pieces I was able to transcribe for those couldn't watch....
Representing one client who's both a witness and victim, and additional corroborating witnesses to what she is going to allege publicly within the next 48 hours.
"This woman, when she does surface, will be found to be 100% credible by the American public. I would not be representing her if I did not believe her, and if anyone has been paying attention over the last six or seven months, they'll know that I do not traffic in nonsense or rumor."
Rachel: Are there other people witnesses to one specific allegation?
"No, it's not about one specific allegation. It's a series of allegations; this is a pattern of behavior that took place across many months and many years."
Rachel: Your focus on Mark Judge, is it about his own alleged bad behavior or is there something about him specifically that you feel is crucial to shedding light on the allegations against Kavanaugh?
"Because Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were effectively joined at the hip for an extended period of time during the years at issue. They participated in various conduct together, which we believe is absolutely disqualifying as it relates to Kavanaugh serving on the US Supreme Court."
"I think there may very well be a criminal complaint made relating to this conduct and we may very well pursue criminal charges relating to the perpetrators at issue relating to what my client alleges."
by Anonymous | reply 252 | September 25, 2018 2:56 AM |

If Kavanaugh gets on SCOTUS, he's on for life, he will be a bitter nasty vindictive woman hating bitch, and it will show in every one of his decisions.

r258, do you have any idea how many more women will die gruesome horrific completely preventable deaths if he is appointed? And how many more unwanted children will be used to keep the bunks warm in for-profit-prisons -- after fulfilling the gop wet dream of crime levels actually skyrocketing? We'll be in a full-on dystopia if that monster of a man is allowed to dictate the laws of the land.

Doing that Fox interview was a mistake for Kavanaugh. They've given Ford's team - and Avenatti- plenty of ammunition now - it's like he's "testifying" first, which is what Ford wanted. He really tried to oversell his virginity-clean-cut-American boy angle. And the 'oh, no, I never heard of ANY kind of parties like THAT." Really? When Mark Judge is his good friend?

In Mark Judge's memoir, he describes blacking out from drinking after a wedding. When he's told by a friend later that he made moves on a bridesmaid, Judge says his immediate response was that he hoped he didn't hurt her.
But yeah, his best friend and drinking partner was a virgin altar boy.

Dems, if they ever get a chance to nominate a Supreme Court justice ever again (gerrymandering, voter suppression, "national emergency" and elections suspension, etc.), might do best to nominate women when it comes to avoiding this sort of thing. Statistically women commit rape less frequently than men, etc. Harassment, yeah, it happens but also less frequently. The GOP will always mostly nominate men, so it'll balance out.
Dems ... might do best to nominate women when it comes to avoiding this sort of thing.
That is, Dems might do best to choose women, if they want to avoid sexual harassment claims against their nominees. Women can be accused too, but it might be less likely than a man being accused. All I'm saying is that it might be a factor if they want a smooth nomination process. They can always face any number of other claims that aren't more frequently committed by men, too (e.g., insider trading, fraud).

As I understand it, both Ford and Kavanaugh will be given unlimited time to make their statements, and then each Senator will be given five minutes to ask questions (that is, five minutes for Ford and five minutes for Kavanaugh). Presumably, the Republicans' "female assistant" will be given all 30x2 minutes of the GOP Senators' questioning time. The Democratic Senators will have less time for questions since they have fewer members on the Committee.

At this point, yes. Something is wrong with so many men at this point that you all need to start fixing yourselves and helping your fellow men fix themselves. Women in this country lived for generations without rights or representation. Actually, we still do if you count the whole 10% of elected offices and CEO positions, etc., filled by women. One generation won't kill you. If you all don't shape up as a sex, we'll wait two generations. Get to work!

It was sycophantic bullshit, which means that Kavanaugh had no qualms about lying, publicly and blatantly. And if someone is prepared to lie that badly about something so trivial, and doing so in a way that was totally unnecessary, that tells you all you need to know about their character.
Nothing I've seen since has persuaded me that my initial impression of him was incorrect.

Yep r391. In all the drama since then people have forgotten what he was like on day one, coming out there with that bullshit. He showed he was unworthy for the Supreme Court in his very first public appearance.

I just saw the clip of him introducing all the girls he coached at his hearing. Now it comes off as a bit creepy, but even without the allegations, why was that even relevant to the hearing. It seemed odd for him to trot out all of these girls to show why he was qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice.

They were trying to build up this squeaky clean, wholesome, "soccer dad" image and get him confirmed before his past started coming to light.

r393, it was part of a strange strategy to pre-emptively paint him as a white knight for vaginas across America before the general public knew he was a serial sexual abuser of women. They, also, included all that crap about his supposedly extensive hiring of female law clerks -- which we later learned was done to increase his access to attractive women he had a dominant power imbalance over -- and his supposed reverence for his hard working mother -- no doubt he learned the extent of the abuse women will tolerate silently by watching her interactions with his father and other men.

R393, more trump led circus. He perjured himself, he could barely stammer an answer to kamela harris, he’s clearly not fit .

That reminds me of a criticism I read after Thomas was approved. Someone commented that all of the focus was on Anita Hill, but in reality he should not have been appointed because he was a mediocre legal mind at best, but that completely got dropped in the posturing.

one hundred percent, and indeed, look, thomas has been the most DO-nothing justice ever.

They don't give a shit, R398. All that counts is whether he's a reliable right-wing vote and, almost without exception, that's what he's been.

In addition to rape allegations, they should also look at how he miraculously managed to pay off hundreds of thousands of dollars in gambling debts all of a sudden.

r400, who should look at that? The Senate gop who are also in hock to the Russian mob? We need the UN to send in a multi-national coalition of armed forces.

Pardon if this has been discussed, but why isn't Trump justifiably furious with his team for their lackadaisical vetting of Kavanaugh.
He should be LIVID at them for causing this disaster in the first place.

r402, Trump is the one who insisted Brett The Rapist be the nominee. He was not any of the lists provided to him of qualified candidates. Yurtle The Fascist Turtle tried to talk him out of it and got nowhere.
Trump is the one who insisted Brett The Rapist be the nominee.
In other words, Russians or Bannon insisted he be the nominee.

Li'l Brett was the choice because he's essentially a Republican party hack, beholden to the elders of the party for his career, and would make all the right decisions: for broad executive power and privilege, against legal abortion and gay rights, etc. McTurtle was opposed to his nomination because of the extensive paper trail full of embarrassing or downright illegal political skulduggery, but Trump didn't care about that, and the decision was made simply not to release more than a fraction of Li'l Brett's record.
So Trump has only himself to blame. In some ways Brett's sleaziness is a feature-not-a-bug, in that ramming him through to the Court would affirm to the deplorables that we live in a world where teenage sexual assault and blackout drunkenness are just forgivable horseplay—and to the Republican party that persistent perjury in the service of the party won't be a drag on your trajectory to the top. Trump's not going to blame the ones who nominated Brett, he's going to blame the Democrats and others who dragged his sleaziness out into the open and made it disqualifying.

r404, right. And Putin wanted him because he could be and was bought in exchange for those gambling debts. I'm offended by the carelessness of their crimes, that there's not even an effort to hide their wrongdoing, that they believe themselves to be so far above the law that they don't even bother to try to make their money laundering fronts appear to be plausible businesses.
