Lucianna Paluzzi, Thunderball, Shirley Eaton who played Jill Masterson in Goldfinger.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 17, 2018 6:23 PM |
Carole Bouquet in For Your Eyes Only was stunningly beautiful
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 17, 2018 6:23 PM |
The first, and one of the best: Ursula Andress.
Fun fact about Maud: she was the Bond girl in two films, with the other one "Octopussy."
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 17, 2018 6:24 PM |
Another vote for Ursula Andress.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 17, 2018 6:34 PM |
Lois was good, but nobody beats Claudine Auger. What about Lotte Lenya?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 17, 2018 6:57 PM |
She didn't fuck Bond but I always liked Olga Kurylenko in Quantum of Solace.

For Your Eyes Only, Darling - Carole Bouquet.

Another vote for Ursula Andress — a genuine stunner!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 17, 2018 7:12 PM |
If Henry Cavill becomes Bond do you think he’d be in the running?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 17, 2018 7:13 PM |
I read somewhere Ursula Andress was much more famous than Sean Connery when that film was made. It's def the most iconic.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 17, 2018 7:14 PM |
A couple of comments in the Ursula Andress picture posted above say that the picture is really Raquel Welch. Here's one that's undeniably Ursula. With Sean Connery as a bonus.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 17, 2018 7:17 PM |
Lois Chiles is hardly any actress. Did you ever watch her try to act? Painful.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | September 17, 2018 7:18 PM |
Truth be told, most of them were stunners.
I liked the fact that Monica Belucci was a Bond woman in the last one. Older than typical but probably even more stunning. And Michelle Yeoh was not a typical Bond girl in one of Brosnan's outings but she sure did kick ass.

Mrs Ringo Starr owns this thread.

Ursula Andress, Not many women can look this good with their hair wet.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 17, 2018 8:24 PM |
Ursula is No# 1 and I liked Honor Blackman too.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 17, 2018 8:27 PM |
I can still remember this Swiss beauty walking out of the waves.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 17, 2018 8:32 PM |
One runs into dozens of stars at events in New York and we ignore them as is proper. The only one that made me hyperventilate a little was Ursula Andress. Stunning in a tight gold dress.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 17, 2018 8:40 PM |
The best Bond girl has a certain exoticism or foreigness about her with sex appeal and a bit of danger. The American (eg. Jill St John) or the British (eg. Diana Rigg) just don't have those qualities. Ursula is the Ultimate Bond Girl but I liked Daniela Bianchi.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 17, 2018 8:45 PM |
Oh my God, will someone show Madonna-man-arms the freaking exit?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | September 17, 2018 8:52 PM |
The only one that's not attractive enough to be a Bond girl is Madonna. She's not bad looking but nowhere near the iconic beauty standard of the others.
She must have campaigned hard.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | September 17, 2018 8:56 PM |
Second Chiles but I also have to put in a strong nods to Bouquet and Paluzzi.
Paluzzi as Fiona Volpe is my favorite Bond villainess by far. Though her successor Fatima Blush played by Barbara Carerra is fabulous too.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | September 17, 2018 9:13 PM |
Diana Rigg.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | September 17, 2018 9:15 PM |
Eva Green in R18 's pic resembles Kristen Ritter so much it is uncanny.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | September 17, 2018 9:16 PM |
Another vote for Lea Seydoux.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | September 17, 2018 9:16 PM |
Jill Saint-John wasn't the most beautiful. But she was a bombshell and her character Tiffany holds up well over time. I mention her because she really had an impact on me when I was a boy. I mean I ended up a gay boy but I was just transfixed by her in Diamonds.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | September 17, 2018 9:27 PM |
They are nearly all beautiful and also show different types of beauty, from exotic to classic to sexual. I'd forgotten Barbara Carrera but yep, she was a stunner too. Others high on my list would be Maud Addams and Barbara Bach. Tanya Roberts was a Bond girl too (View to a Kill) and she was also a very good looking woman. And Joanna Lumley makes the list twice, in a way: On Her Majesty's .... and Bond Does Black Emmanuelle.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | September 17, 2018 9:37 PM |

Tanya Roberts was of course the best actress among them.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | September 17, 2018 11:39 PM |
I haven’t watched many James Bond movies, but I remember seeing one when I was very young and if you could help me find the actress, it would be awesome.
I remember a scene on a boat and a beautiful woman (maybe in a bikini?) with very very long hair. That’s about it, and I don’t know why I just remember that, but I think it left me with a fascination for long hair. Any idea who it could be and in which movie?
by Anonymous | reply 50 | September 18, 2018 12:19 AM |
Assuming you’re not kidding R53
For Your Eyes Only, Never Say Never Again, Thunderball, and The Man With The Golden Gun all have long haired women in swimwear at least boat adjacent.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | September 18, 2018 12:46 AM |
R50 Probably Thunderball, circa mid 1960s. Does that match your childhood?
by Anonymous | reply 53 | September 18, 2018 1:29 AM |
R52, oh no, I’m not kidding. I think I’ve seen maybe two JB movies from beginning to end and one of them was Casino Royal...
I tried searching for various James Bond girls with very long hair, but the only one that seems to match that description is Carole Bouquet. Were there other actresses in the franchise with hair down their back?
R53, I was a child in the 80’s-early 90’s, but it was definitely a movie from the 60’s-70’s!

Honor Blackman, Jane Seymour and Halle Berry.

What the fuck happened to Jane Seymour? It's like she's had a reverse nose job. She's not so pretty at all anymore and her features have gained ethnicity...
There are no more beautiful women than Lois Chiles was back then. I think OP got it right the first time. Monica Bellucci and Sophie Marceau are my other faves.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | October 23, 2018 6:53 AM |
I've never thought Ursula Andress was all that. Lois Chiles was stunning, as was Jane Seymour - love them both.
WHET Sophie Marceau? She had such a promising career at some point.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | October 23, 2018 7:16 AM |
Carole Bouquet has a very handsome son named Dimitri Rassam who just had a baby boy with Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco.
Who has scoop on Charlotte's mother, Princess Caroline, and her marriage to Ernst? Supposedly separated for a decade now but never divorced?
by Anonymous | reply 77 | October 25, 2018 7:10 PM |
Carole Bouquet by a landslide.
If you get a chance, watch "Trop Belle Pour Toi" where Carole Bouquet is a scorned wife because she's so perfect in every aspect of her life, that her husband, Gérard Depardieu, goes for a homely woman, to whom he can relate and disrespect in the good sense of "disrespecting" if that actually makes sense.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | October 25, 2018 7:19 PM |
Ursula Andress. Even though her voice was dubbed.
Her face is so beautifully sculpted. And she had an amazing body, of course.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | October 25, 2018 7:30 PM |
I mean, when you look like this...really, everyone else in the room just kind of fades away.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | October 25, 2018 7:34 PM |
For me, either Jane Seymour or Halle Berry. Too bad Halle turned out to be a cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | October 25, 2018 8:15 PM |
Diana Rigg. Honor Blackman. Joanna Lumley.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | October 25, 2018 8:17 PM |
Eva Green is not the most classically beautiful Bond girl, but she definitely had an unforgettable quality. When Vesper dies, you really feel it.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | October 25, 2018 8:50 PM |
Eva also has two of the best tits of any Bond girl.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | October 25, 2018 8:52 PM |
I never could sit through James Bond.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | October 25, 2018 8:58 PM |
When Eva Green was announced as the new James Bond girl, my first impression was, “What? That girl from ‘The Dreamers’?” But she was lovely in the film, and gave a TERRIFIC performance — the producers were smart to cast someone who was capable of bringing an emotional resonance to the role (and I know that might sound absurd about a Bond film, but if you’ve seen “Casino Royale”, you know what I mean!
That said, my all-time favorite remains the breathtaking, iconic Ursula Andress.
And in defense of Denise Richards, it cannot be denied that she was beautiful and extremely sexy in “Wild Things”. The producers of “The World is Not Enough” did her no favors by saddling her nuclear scientist (!) character with a ridiculous name (Dr. Christmas Jones) then introducing her by unzipping her uniform to reveal hot pants underneath.
by Anonymous | reply 87 | October 25, 2018 10:30 PM |
Kim basinger
by Anonymous | reply 88 | October 25, 2018 11:14 PM |
All the Bond girls gave ridiculous names, R87; that's the gig.
Rosamunde Pike must have pretty young when Die Another Day was made.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | October 26, 2018 12:03 AM |
^^^ have, not gave. And must have been.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | October 26, 2018 12:05 AM |
I don't think Pike was a typical Bond girl in Die Another Day, was she? IIRC, she was the villain's assistant but didn't sleep with Bond. Halle Berry was the fucktoy in that movie.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | October 26, 2018 11:10 PM |
This is a great thread. These women were so beautiful, in different ways, and any differences we are having is more based on our own tastes versus right/wrong.
r91, Miranda Frost (Pike) did fuck Bond later in the movie to keep him occupied before her big reveal as a villain.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | October 26, 2018 11:37 PM |
Jane Seymour is beautiful. But tiresome.
Except in EAST OF EDEN, where she burns down her family home, almost slashes Anne Baxter’s throat with a champagne glass, and ends up a hop head junkie whore.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | November 3, 2018 6:25 AM |
Tanya Roberts

R96 Sometimes Tanya Roberts looks like Isabelle Adjani to me.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | November 3, 2018 12:13 PM |
I always found Honor Blackman to be an exception. Not ugly, but not preternaturally beautiful like most Bond girls. Too old and hard-looking.
by Anonymous | reply 99 | November 3, 2018 2:33 PM |
And yet she aged better than most of them. Here she is at 80 years young.
by Anonymous | reply 100 | November 3, 2018 2:49 PM |
Another vote for the ill-fated but accomplished agent Paula from Thunderball played by Martine Beswick.
She didn’t fuck Bond and she took a cyanide pill rather than give up information.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | November 3, 2018 2:49 PM |
I don't think Blackman was hard looking. She was almost 40 and not nipped n tucked to hide it. But her features were great - eyes, cheekbones, lips, hairline, jawline. Her lean beauty mirrored Connery's in a way. Theirs was a mature, knowing appeal.
by Anonymous | reply 102 | November 3, 2018 2:55 PM |
Ursula, Seymour, Bouquet, Chiles.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | November 3, 2018 3:34 PM |
Martine Beswick has turned into Ruby Wax. I recognised Shirley Eaton but I had to look up Jan Williams. She played Robert Shaw's masseuse in "From Russia With Love".
by Anonymous | reply 106 | November 3, 2018 3:48 PM |
Well, I'll give Lois Chiles some credit for being modest enough not to identify herself as the OP of this thread.
My vote goes to Akiko Wakabayashi in You Only Live Twice. She gets extras points from me for also starring in Ghidrah, The three Headed Monster. She's also a front runner for Most Beautiful Godzilla Actress.

Honor Blackman certainly did improve with age. What a handsome old lady.

Chiles was mesmerizing in photos....and boring as ALL hell on screen.
When you’re most believable playing a white bread, prime time newscaster, I’d say you’re in trouble.
by Anonymous | reply 111 | November 4, 2018 2:24 AM |
Grace Kelly, Ava Gardner, Brigette Bardot and Hedy Lamarr would have made great Bond girls..
by Anonymous | reply 112 | November 4, 2018 2:34 AM |
I would have liked Grace Kelly in a throwaway role where she gets killed in fast order.
Like Shirley Eaton’s sister in Goldfinger. She was an awful actress like Kelly.

Tilly!
Her name was Tilly!

The Bond girl in Skyfall was stunning beyond belief. I don't remember her name, she wasn't a huge star or anything.
by Anonymous | reply 115 | November 5, 2018 3:29 AM |
Her name is Berenice Marlohe. She is French and of Cambodian/Chinese/French ancestry. She is stunning.
by Anonymous | reply 116 | November 5, 2018 8:29 PM |
Lois Chiles' main acting problem was her voice. She couldn't modulate worth a damn: everything was said in the same flat tone. Death on the Nile is one of my favorite movies despite her wooden performance.
by Anonymous | reply 117 | November 5, 2018 8:32 PM |
Lois Chiles looks amazing in Egypt, too. Bette Davis and Maggie Smith must have snickered at that voice, but neither would deny she popped in the dallies.

by Anonymous | reply 120 | November 6, 2018 9:57 PM |
I still say Lotte Lenya. At least you have to admit she was the most talented. And who else recorded what may be the most popular song ever written?
by Anonymous | reply 121 | November 6, 2018 10:45 PM |
Alexandra Daddario would be a good choice.

by Anonymous | reply 124 | November 7, 2018 1:14 AM |
Lois Chiles was a very smart girl. She was supposedly Bill Paley's mistress and went on to marry Richard Gilder, a Wall Street Tycoon who has given so much money away, he has a block in New York named after him. (West 77th between CPW and Columbus). Luciana Paluzzi married a TV Mogul who was one of the heads of Lorimar and lives in a mansion in Beverly Hills. Barbara Bach is Mrs. Ringo Starr. Does anyone know what happened to the rest of the Bond girls? I agree that Berenice Marlohe is spectacular. I am sure she will be snagged by someone Super Rich if she hasn't been already.

If Jaclyn Smith ,who was first choice for the part, had accepted the role of "Holly Goodhead" SHE would have been the most beautiful Bond actress. However, she turned it down. She thought the character's name was "tacky". So Lois(who I always thought was overrated) got the part.

Lois Chile’s is kind of a “pretend” actress. It’s not like she’s a real actress, somehow.
I guess she was later okay on DALLAS, for whatever that’s worth.
