I think Acura has an ugly as fuck logo.

Not sure what’s wrong with the Acura logo... it looks like an “A”.

R3 Barilla's logo could be a pile of shit for all I care. I won't use them after they shit on the LGBT community.

Slightly off topic, but why do so many car companies use ovals for their logos?

Amazon for the win. Looks like a First Year Graphic Design student project.

In imitation of Ford's, which was the first oval car logo.

One of my favorite logos ever was the Cingular Wireless 'Jack' logo.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 30, 2018 6:05 AM |
R7 wtf is that? I can’t imagine anyone presenting that to a client.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 30, 2018 6:17 AM |
I just got the Amazon logo. They have everything from A to Z. I'm slow.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 30, 2018 7:37 AM |
R16 Also, the arrow is a penis.

I hate the Mazda logo, or some reason. Kinda looks like a seagull....or early Transformers? Or some other Anime thing?
When I went shopping for a compact SUV earlier this year, I wouldn't even consider a Mazda because I hate that logo so much.

Acura is derivative of Mitsubishi, which has a cool logo. It represents three diamonds, because "mitsubishi" means "three diamonds."
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 30, 2018 11:53 AM |
r19 Why would Acura be derivative of Mitsubishi, when it's manufactured by Honda?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 30, 2018 6:20 PM |
r19 - The shape, not the stone.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 30, 2018 6:28 PM |
I think the Acura logo is pretty clever. It's essentially the Honda H shaped into an A. I have an Acura RSX and it's a fantastic car: 13 years old, 220k miles, and runs great.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | August 30, 2018 7:07 PM |
Acura's logo plays off the H in Honda. It was done on purpose.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 30, 2018 7:41 PM |
I hate Toyota because it looks as if it ought to be a Taurus.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 30, 2018 8:56 PM |
r27 Taurus the sign or Taurus the car?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 30, 2018 9:19 PM |
I don’t like the Hyundai logo.
It looks like it used to be a Honda that got smashed and knocked on its side.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | August 31, 2018 2:45 AM |
R16 that's why Amazon's logo is brilliant. the "arrow" also forms a smile, symbolizing the company's dedication to delivering superior customer satisfaction.

No, it's nothing to do with the H in Honda. The entire point of creating Acura was to create a separate premium brand and image apart from Honda.
The "A" symbol is actually a calliper, an instrument used to precisely measure thickness, and a reflection of the brand's first tag-line: Precision Crafted Automobiles.

McDonalds looks dated, but they have a lot of equity in it.

I have never liked the Chevy bowtie. I don't even get the connection to Chervrolet.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | August 31, 2018 3:26 AM |
R29, the Hyundai logo's lack of symmetry drives me crazy. Also, the stylized H is supposed to represent two silhouettes shaking hands, but I cannot unsee some guy grabbing another guy's dick.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 31, 2018 3:33 AM |
r34 That's so swastikaesque.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 31, 2018 3:34 AM |
OP, do you sit home alone trying to think up stupid things to post?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 31, 2018 3:49 AM |
The new UPS logo is awful. The old Paul Rand design was beautiful.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 31, 2018 3:50 AM |
One of my favorites is the happy face G of Goodwill.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 31, 2018 3:54 AM |
R35 What's wrong with that? It's what appeals to everyone.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 31, 2018 3:55 AM |
r39 I think one reason they changed it is that they do not want people putting string around packages anymore.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 31, 2018 4:23 AM |
R16, I didn’t realize that till now.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | September 1, 2018 6:22 AM |
I see, r42. That makes sense.
