Hahaha, the things I remember the most about this show are the terrible wigs and Methos being an asshole.

The good old times of my childhood.

There's no Highlander love here.

The tv show is so old it's kind of a miracle if more than 10 people remember it.

My uncle met Adrian Paul in the 90's, during a shooting near Bordeaux.

He said he's super nice.

Just fan Fraus in general...you've got to admit DL is often overloaded with them.

Loved this show for the handsome actors and the locales of the episodes, I believe the series was filmed in Paris and Vancouver.

It was eye candy with a strong gay subtext. What's not to like?

Had the HUGEST crush on Methos. One of the most well rounded, yet mysterious characters. And talk about BDF.

actually it is how I found Outlander. I thought I was clicking on the series Highlander on Starz (didn't remember the name, just knew it had to do with kilts) I had remembered watching it when it was first on and wanted to see if it was still as interesting.

Yeah, Tides of War was produced by the Here! cable network, and was released in two versions...one with the gay romance subplot as seen in the clip, and another with the subplot excised. The gay version aired on Here!, while the "straight" version was released generally on home video. They did another TV movie like this called Deadly Skies, with the version airing on Here! having a romance subplot between Antonio sabato Junior and Michael Boisvert. Again, the general release version had the gay subplot excised:

R23 the only fan fiction I ever read was about Methos, by somebody who enjoy the outdoor apparently.

Peter Wingfield is now a doctor, I use to watch him in Stargate as well, but he still does convention apparently.

I've read Wingfield and his wife are both doctors.
