Remember Loren Dean?

He played Bones' brother on "Bones."

I thought he was going to be major in 1991.

Talented actor - I've never read any gossip about him. I liked [italic]Mumsford[/italic], and I think that was the last movie I saw him in.

Noticed him first in Apollo 13, then again in the underrated How to Make an American Quilt.

Silently lusted after him watching Gattaca, Enemy of the State (both also underrated), and then his lead role in Mumford.

Mumford was his shot at leading man, but Hope(less) Davis and Earl Banky Hickey (Jason Lee), lent no help to the success of the movie. Mumford was a pet project of Lawrence Kasdan, and it should not have been made. His screenplays that he also directed were always a bit quirky, but usually tender. Mumford was just too screwy an idea. Worse, it should not have been the deciding factor for Loren Dean's future. I don't think he ever did a movie after Mumford, let alone as a lead or strong supporter.

He has that "American Every Man" look going for him - if every man in America was better looking. Plus, it looks like he squints and somehow that's hot.

I know him. He didn't want to deal with the Hollywood BS anymore -more power to him. Sweet guy. He might take an acting gig now and then but is done,

I LOVE Mumford. It cheers me up gradually as I watch it. Sunny, sweet movie. But Gattaca is where I first saw him. Beautiful.

R3 Dennis is the only good looking one on that show. Rob’s tattoos are so bad I Couldn’t believe they weren’t just drawn on for the show.

No naked pics of him anywhere and I’ve never heard any stories on his sexuality. Him, DB Sweeney and DW Moffatt and Eric Thal, sexy, intelligent actors who seem to fly under the radar. They must prefer it that way.

I am watching Billy Bathgate now. Loren was so beautiful and he really does have a nice big butt.

Mumford is a wonderful movie. I don’t think it hurt his career, it just didn’t help it. But he was great in it.

Eric Thal!!! Swoon. I was an extra on one of his films that was filmed on location where I was in college. He was gorgeous in person.
