The former ‘NSync member says he believes he was used to drive up the price of the house.
He got played.

Those damn stairs took up half the house anyway.

Bye, Bye, Bye

is he serious? heartbroken? look at real life lancie poo
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 6, 2018 7:52 AM |
Actually he got lucky. He was saved from buying something stupid.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 6, 2018 8:45 AM |
He throws shade on Douglas Elliman, the real estate company.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 6, 2018 6:40 PM |
All this publicity for Lance and he didn’t have to spend a dime
by Anonymous | reply 6 | August 6, 2018 6:52 PM |
I can't recall, but was he also heartbroken when he got played by that company that sells space rocket rides? Apparently not that many people are interested in selling stuff to Lance Bass even when he's, apparently, willing and able to pay.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 6, 2018 7:03 PM |
He said a Hollywood studio bought it, but what are they going to do with it? Its in a residential neighborhood, so it's not like they can commercialize it.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 6, 2018 7:13 PM |
Maybe it's been covered but was the interior used in the show as well? Somewhat?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 6, 2018 7:26 PM |
R8 Probably whatever studio owns the TV show. They probably have plans to reboot the TV show and/or movies.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | August 6, 2018 7:27 PM |
I'm heartbroken about a three-legged dog who was abandoned after giving birth to puppies, who were taken from her.
I'm sorry Lance is heartbroken about a famous house.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 6, 2018 7:37 PM |
LOL. If he really was interested in buying that house he would have hired a middle man to hide his identity for that very purpose (preventing seller / realtor driving up the price because of who's interested).
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 6, 2018 8:34 PM |
It was purchased by a company who is planning on doing a reality show where estranged blended families are brought back together as adults for the step siblings to make amends with each other. Each group will be in the house there less than a week, but it will be edited to look like a longer time frame. If the show is a hit, they will keep the house, otherwise it will be sold. The kitchen and stairway will be duplicated as much as possible in that little footprint.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 6, 2018 8:52 PM |
Weird, because the real house interior bears no resemblance to the Brady Bunch interior, which was on a soundstage.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 6, 2018 8:59 PM |
That's like buying the house of the Golden Girls, used for exterior shots, and act surprised that the inside doesn't look exactly like on the show.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 6, 2018 9:01 PM |
R15 - particularly when the Golden GIrls kitchen was re-used from another sitcom.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 6, 2018 10:11 PM |
Here's how it looked in TV show. The house has been changed a bit. The fence in front ruins it.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 6, 2018 10:19 PM |
He should have never gone on a victory lap until the papers were signed
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 6, 2018 10:36 PM |
Exactly R12!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 6, 2018 10:48 PM |
Why are we still hearing about Lance Bass? I would think he would be running out of PR stunts ... But this thread did get 20 hits so I guess he's minutely relevant on DL ..
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 7, 2018 10:48 AM |
That explains it.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 7, 2018 3:22 PM |
My guess is they will form a "brady bunch" of their onair talent and create a series following them remodeling the house.

[quote]The fence in front ruins it.
Not to mention the hideous sculpture.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 7, 2018 3:51 PM |
Is there anyone among us who DIDN'T think HGTV would end up with it?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 7, 2018 3:56 PM |
The you should have posted so, R25, it would have made you look smart.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | August 7, 2018 5:09 PM |
A guy bought the house used in a Christmas Story and had the interior remodeled to match the movie. They do daily tours and it was a fun little vacation stop. Wish they would do the same with the B.B. house.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 7, 2018 5:35 PM |
R25 the question isn't so much who thought hgtv would get it, as it was who even knew the network wanted it, and how will it be exploited/ruined by them ?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 8, 2018 10:11 AM |
Tell him we'll have the Brady Bunch Volcano all set for prospective buyers as soon as it cools down a bit.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | August 8, 2018 10:18 AM |
Lance, I feel the need to let you know that you suck at business
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 8, 2018 2:05 PM |
[quote]He should have never gone on a victory lap until the papers were signed
Because he never had the credit/assets to get the loan. It was all about publicity to make some more money.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 8, 2018 2:22 PM |
I beginning to think this might have all been a publicity stunt....
by Anonymous | reply 32 | August 9, 2018 8:13 AM |
HGTV will restore the interior to its television beauty. However, being HGTV, they will make a few changes to appeal to their viewers: stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops in their open concept kitchen ( we know how the Bradys loved to entertain), double vanities, a big walk-in closet for Mrs Brady's wardrobe, a deck for drinking morning coffee, and ( of course) hardwood flooring throughout.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | August 11, 2018 2:03 PM |
Lol, R33! So true.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 11, 2018 3:45 PM |
R32 that no-talent publicity whore is annoying AF.
