The source - Sarah Paulson - said Lange's return [italic]coincides[/italic] with her [Paulson's] directorial debut in the sixth episode. Everything else is conjecture right now.

Can't stand this bitch. Not much of an actress, but at least she used to be gorgeous. But everytime I see that freaky over-surgeried face of hers on TV these days I have to change the channel.

I think shes a great actress. My issue with her is that she plays many roles almost the same. With similar mannerisms and characteristics, especially in AHS.

She is only appearing in one episode as Constance. Sad that her career is over.

When I heard that the episode might have a Murder House/Coven link, I asked Zachary Quinto if he was coming back and he said no.

Hollywood is a weird place. Who watches Jessica Lange & Meryl Streep, then decides Meryl should get the part? Can't relate.

She looks like Sarah Sanders there.

Streep is versatile, box office and likable.

Lange is one note, difficult and an alcoholic.

I wish Jessica the best but no one wants to hire her. I hope this small part gives her even a tiny bit of joy.

Lange has also revealed that she suffers from severe bouts of depression.

Broadway beckons

Jessica lives comfortably, doesn't like to work a whole lot, and isn't driven by this constant need be seen, heard, adulated and adored. She doesn't go seeking parts or demanding that she gets first pick on projects or front row seats award shows and events. At 69, she just doesn't give a damn playing the Hollywood game. If a part comes her way that interests her, she'll do it. If not, she just isn't motivated enough to do a role just because it was offered.

Shut up Jessica enabler. She has a drinking problem.

I think she's terrific and deserves a great starring role in a movie to welcome her back to the Oscars.

Never going to happen

Jessica is rumored to have signed on to do a new Ryan Murphy show on Netflix. It could be "The Politician," which already has Streisand and Paltrow signed on as series regulars.

I hope it's not the Paltrow I'm thinking of...

I'm watching Crimes of the Heart right now. She's so lovely in it.

Jessica Lange is magic. She has a really interesting mix of hard edged bitterness, and downy vulnerability.

And I've always admired that, after she got out of her initial starlet contract with Dino De Laurentiis, she wouldn't just appear in worthless crap at every turn. She seems level headed, and works in what she's interested in.

She has dignity as a performer.

Whatever. Ryan Murphy seems like the only person willing to work with her “dignity.”

Jess needs to touch up her roots if she plans on returning to that show, American something rather. I hope there's a part in there for Gracie.

This makes me sad for her..
