The costume is still padded.

The padding looks comical, and not necessarily in a bad way. The only thing that really bothers me is his dye job. Just unfortunate. I thought movie studios were supposed to employ the best hair colourists in the biz?

I think the shoe-shine hair is intentional. I just don't know if it reads well on screen.

Looks like Big meets Spider-Man with a dash of Thor. Not sure if the fanboys will go for it but it looks like it could be goofy fun.

I thought of that Sinbad "movie" as soon as I saw Shazam trending on Twitter, R12.

I was prepared to hate it, but it looks surprisingly charming.

Do we think Levi being an outspoken churchie and urging people to vote for a third party in 2016 will hurt the movie? Because if there ever was a time when that shit comes out to bite people in the ass, it's definitely now with the culture wars raging left and right.

I abhor comic movies but this does look like fun. Whoever said it has elements of Big is correct. And that Jennifer Garner movie where she ages overnight; I forget the name of it and can't be bothered to look it up. It looks cute.

This is all fun kids wish fulfillment. That is the whole premise, a superman loving kid who gains the ability to magically transform into a Superman.

The comics version of Isis is on Legends of Tomorrow, although she's not called that, for the reasons you mention. She's just called by her name, Zari.
