I think I posted this already, but (not dramatic, just AH related)

I was in line right next to her at the Ahmanson Theater, picking up tickets, and there was a wait so we were stuck together. She looked grand, was with some tall fellow. I told her how much I admired her acting, and how I thought her interview in INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO was great. I burbled away for a little while, she was smiling and thanking me, then I left her alone.

My friend said it was embarrasing and asked why I bothered her. I said, "Actors LOVE that!! Can you imagine how devastated they'd be the day they left the house and no one recognized them??"

She and Mary Travers ended up looking the same. Two thin, angular beauties who both smoked for years and gained weight later in life. Not to mention they both favored very severe bangs with long straight hair.

She was fit and skinny for the majority of her career and she’s definitely not bothered or trying to keep up with the young girls of Hollywood today. I worked on SMASH and hung out in her trailer on a few occasions. She's one of the most effortlessly cool and classy people I've ever met, just emanating chic from every orifice. Her husband's death absolutely devastated her and to her SMASH was a breeze of fresh air that got her out of the rut and she loved every minute. Hate if you want, but she actually gave a fuck doing that show (she could've been half-assed, but she wasn't). She's the real deal. Diva.

Also, she's surprisingly tall and much more attractive and sexy than these pics (esp these horrible ones) attest.

She has mentioned her regret for having had too much filler. She's had bad surgical results as well. Poor old thing can't win with the poor lifestyle choices either. Some of us sadly just don't age, we MORPH. There has long been a belief amongst the Irish (myself included) that many of our heads do seem to get larger and bloated as we age, even despite no appreciable weight gain.

Wow, that chin thing is so bizarre. I know, aging but never seen it like that. It's not like a normal double chin, its like the whole lower jaw dislodged and slid down her throat. I am usually against plastic surgery but if that were me I would make the exception.
