Xavier is starting to become a hot commodity. Boy Erased and now IT.
Gurl, you made it!
by Anonymous | reply 1 | June 22, 2018 8:38 PM |
Never mind all the films he's directed, R1?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | June 22, 2018 8:46 PM |
Those were independent films. You haven't made it until you get an Oscar nomination and a box office hit.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | June 22, 2018 9:59 PM |
R3, and yet they are still something way better than small supporting actor gigs in bigger movies.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | June 22, 2018 10:02 PM |
Pray for dong.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | June 22, 2018 10:03 PM |
R4, listen up. Xavier needs the hits in order to remain relevant. It's the way life works. You cannot direct movies if no investor knows who you are. Xavier will get a lot of goodwill with American investors if he nails this part down.
His character will be the Drew Barrymore of this decade. His death will open the film.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | June 22, 2018 10:07 PM |
He's very cute, this will be interesting to watch.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | June 22, 2018 10:32 PM |
he wants to be seen as versatile....in every sense of the word i'm sure he has a hairy butt hole is it tight? not sure
he can be bit bitchy sometimes because he is half french!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | June 22, 2018 11:09 PM |
I thought he wants to be seen only as a top.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 22, 2018 11:13 PM |
He probably lobbied hard for this role - he gushed all over the first film.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 22, 2018 11:20 PM |
And all this time I thought he was just fangirling over the IT cast. Bitch knew he would be part of the film.
So whose cock did Xavier suck in order to get the part?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | June 23, 2018 3:42 AM |
Doesn't Adrian die of a heart attack? Great murder
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 23, 2018 5:02 AM |
I watched Chaoter One. It’s just the same scene over and over.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 23, 2018 8:40 AM |
So can someone summarize what his character goes through? It appears the fate of the gays is bad because they get attacked by homophobes and then eaten by the clown ?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | June 23, 2018 9:14 AM |
I didn't much like the first film. Too much CGI and there wasn't much atmosphere, wasn't scary....even the awful 1990 version was creepier. Not sure I want to see the 2nd movie. What does everyone else think? In some ways it's a very unfilmable novel.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 23, 2018 9:16 AM |
He sucked my cock to get the role
by Anonymous | reply 16 | June 23, 2018 9:53 AM |
[quote] His character will be the Drew Barrymore of this decade. His death will open the film.
This is a joke, right? Drew's death in the first scream was shocking, because she was a big name actress back then and the audience expected her to last for much, much longer (if not survive and be the female lead / hero).
I mean, most people would go "Who?" when it comes to Xavier Dolan. Plus, a lot of people know what happens in Stephen King's book, so the surprise would rather come from changes being made that deviate from the source material and not because of the actor playing the character.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | June 23, 2018 10:06 AM |
anything not to release that fucking movie he did in the US!!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 23, 2018 10:23 AM |
At least they’ll be some decent eye candy in this one between McAvoy and James Ransone.
Ransone as the grown up Eddie is great casting.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 23, 2018 10:45 AM |
So it's a wish-fulfillment story?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 23, 2018 11:45 AM |
Insufferable ! He's such an unbearable cunt. And the characters in his films are as annoying as he is. Lots of teenage yelling and anger.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 23, 2018 11:59 AM |
Look at that smirking face...You just want to slap him silly
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 23, 2018 12:00 PM |
Am I crazy for always getting these guys confused?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 23, 2018 12:04 PM |
I've seen a couple of his movies. Ok. But there's a scene in "Mother" that made me gasp. The kid is riding his bike and is very happy about something and all of a sudden the screen enlarges. It seemed like a brilliant way to show the kid's expanding horizon.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 23, 2018 12:06 PM |
James Ransone is eye candy?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | June 23, 2018 12:09 PM |
James Ransone? From Ken Park? Wow. Time flies.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | June 23, 2018 12:47 PM |
His lesbian bff shitstain probably convinced the director who she's good friends with to cast this no talent cunt hack.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 23, 2018 12:54 PM |
Nah, r16 - he sucked mine.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 23, 2018 1:40 PM |
So who is going to play his boyfriend then? I don't think we know. In the book Xavier's character gets taken by the evil clown, but the boyfriend survives. I hope they cast another gay actor for the boyfriend part. <3
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 23, 2018 1:44 PM |
[quote] And all this time I thought he was just fangirling over the IT cast. Bitch knew he would be part of the film.
Did he already know he was going to be in the sequel when the first one came out? Or did he like the first one so much that he aggressively pursued this role?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 23, 2018 1:53 PM |
Perhaps Connor Jessup can play the boyfriend.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 23, 2018 6:27 PM |
R27 I felt dirty after finding him attractive in Ken Park. Kind of shocked that he's made a comeback as a handsome leading man.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | June 23, 2018 6:28 PM |
It’s a small role and he’s killed pretty quickly.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | June 23, 2018 6:31 PM |
I'd take James Ransone over that pretentious francophone brat anytime.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | June 23, 2018 6:39 PM |
I wish he would just go away.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | June 23, 2018 8:00 PM |
I don’t know her
by Anonymous | reply 38 | June 23, 2018 9:09 PM |
I bet Xavier choose who'll be co-star. <3
I hope it's Jake Gyllenhaal
by Anonymous | reply 39 | June 23, 2018 10:05 PM |
I smell Oscars!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 40 | June 23, 2018 10:18 PM |
Why the hate for this guy? What’s he done?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | June 23, 2018 11:35 PM |
He just wants to feel Bill's arms around Jim (In the book the clown breaks his ribs)
by Anonymous | reply 42 | June 23, 2018 11:41 PM |
Ops, him
by Anonymous | reply 43 | June 23, 2018 11:45 PM |
R42, tell us how the scene evolves. From what I gather, Xavier's character is thrown from a bridge, but how does he meet the clown? Does he even try to fight it or is unconscious?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | June 24, 2018 12:29 AM |
Three homophobes attack Mellon and his partner. Mellon is thrown from a bridge and his partner sees Pennywise grab him. It's based on an actual murder in Bangor but there was no clown involved.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | June 24, 2018 12:37 AM |
R25, yes, that was remarkable. The title is "Mommy."
by Anonymous | reply 46 | June 24, 2018 3:02 AM |
[quote]James Ransone? From Ken Park? Wow. Time flies.
I wish he'd redo the wanking scene now when he's a proper adult. Sure he was around 22 when they filmed Ken Park but he played such a young man that watching it was a bit hard.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | June 24, 2018 5:21 PM |
Taylor Frey's playing his boyfriend in the movie
by Anonymous | reply 48 | July 16, 2018 6:22 PM |
i just wanna know when the fucking american movie he made will come out. Is it that shitty??
by Anonymous | reply 49 | July 16, 2018 6:23 PM |
Goddamn that was bad movie.
The idea for the book is brilliant. A demon crashing into earth and preying on the town that was built over it even if it doesn’t make much sense. It’s too long and there is the gang-bang scene that brings everything down.
I hate that that was the hill the writer/director of True Detective chose to die on and lost the job. I thought he had the imagination to pull it off.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | July 16, 2018 6:51 PM |
Xavier is such a pretentious asshole
by Anonymous | reply 51 | July 16, 2018 6:59 PM |
Remember him whining about the critics at Cannes because they didn't like his pretentious movie ? What a spoiled brat.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | July 17, 2018 7:11 AM |
I was wondering.: If Andy Cohen replaced Xavier Dolan as Adrian Mellon would that make Pennywise a sympathetic character ?
by Anonymous | reply 53 | July 20, 2018 12:19 AM |
He deserves a place in the Dialing-the-phone-with-a-pencil Hall of Fame with these pictures:

Part one was not that good. I still can't believe it grossed a billion dollars worldwide. And it's not scary at all.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | July 24, 2018 4:08 AM |
Agree that part one was overhyped. Not even remotely scary. I will watch part two though because I love Bill Hader.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | May 9, 2019 5:46 PM |
Will Xavier finally show his petulant cock here?
by Anonymous | reply 59 | May 9, 2019 6:17 PM |
New teaser trailer.
Lowkey creepy, not really scary. Hopefully the scary stuff was left out of the trailer.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | May 10, 2019 11:15 PM |
Heartbeats was a fabulous movie . I like Xavier and look forward to how he matures in his work. Its funny how I was an avid Steven King fan for years, then I guess I outgrew it and find his more recent work tedious.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | May 10, 2019 11:35 PM |
I'm looking forward to Xavier the most in this movie but the description makes it sound so retrograde. So he'll get bullied for being gay and then promptly killed by Pennywise? Hope they update it a bit for 2019.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | May 10, 2019 11:37 PM |
Is he playing an adult who is presently getting bullied, or is he playing the adult version of a kid who was bullied for being gay?
by Anonymous | reply 63 | May 10, 2019 11:40 PM |
r63 Oh, I see now, the time jump would make much more sense. Fingers crossed he's living a fulfilling life before Bill gets him.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | May 10, 2019 11:44 PM |
Is this our Xavier? He’s French.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | May 10, 2019 11:57 PM |
Maybe Pennywise will transform into a random trick, and will kill Xavier's character mid-coitus.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | May 11, 2019 12:04 AM |
r66 It'll be something more family-friendly, I'm sure. I just hope it's not framed in a way that could be interpreted as Xavier being punished for being gay and/or it coming across as a joke to make the straight audience laugh at him. That would fucking suck.
