The Money Pit is one of my all time favorite movies. It’s unfair Tom Hanks went on to be such an Oscar darling and Shelley Long got left behind.

Shelly Long preceded Jennifer Aniston as a tv actress who could not open a movie to save her life. Her filmography is not impressive at all except for The Brady Bunch Movie in which she was part of an ensemble.

Outrageous Fortune was one of my favorite movies. Long and Midler may not have cared for each other offscreen, but they were funny as hell onscreen.
