Datalounge PSA

When you find a picture if a celebrity that startles you and want to start a thread asking, “what happened?!?”, take a moment to ask yourself whether the person may be suffering the effects of “aging.”

For those of you unfamiliar with this condition, aging is a process wherein one’s body changes in response to prolonged metabolic processes such as breathing, eating, and sleeping. Typical signs include:

1) Loss of muscle mass

2) Loss of skin elasticity (“wrinkles”)

3) Increased fat deposition

In the case of nude pictures, you may find changes in reproductive organs most accurately characterized by the umbrella term “pendulous.”

Most interestingly, the affects of aging are considered universal. Research thus far has revealed no cure. In fact, you may assume that you yourself demonstrate some of the signs of aging. Posters unaffected by aging are rare and thought to suffer from an even more complex condition called “denial.”

What about Madonna? She looks really bad.

by Anonymousreply 3June 12, 2018 4:13 AM

LOLOLOL!!!

I saw a bunch of weenies at the Daily Fail ranting that Lisa Lampanelli "looked so old" and "aged terribly." Uh, that's what 56 looks like, weenies.

Example below. Typical Datalounge comments:

“OMG why is her hair that color?!?”

“I remember her on MTM and she looks sooo different now, why?!?”

“She must have sone horrible disease. Or was she in an accident? Maybe she lit herself on fire. That’s so sad.”

A common treatment for this "aging" condition is surgery....aka "plastic" surgery.

Before you ask "What happened to their FACE," consider the possibility that this last-ditch attempt at a cure has been made.

Calling this a Datalounge PSA shows me that the OP doesn't quite "get" Datalounge.

by Anonymousreply 11June 12, 2018 5:31 AM

2x W&W, OP. Finally, a witty thread.

by Anonymousreply 12June 12, 2018 5:59 AM

On the contrary. OP gets it.

Thanks for the laugh.

by Anonymousreply 14August 5, 2018 8:20 AM

It's shocking and sometimes noteworthy when celebrities let themselves go and allow themselves to look old.
