Nothing off at at all. The show is a reboot that Chrtistina Ferrare hosted. The new show was the same set up, a real house built on the Universal Studio lot , the whole shebang. Steines quit ET to host. His co-host was Paige Davis of "Trading Spaces". Problem was Paige is a New Yorker and she was commuting every weekend home. After a month she wanted out and left. She was the den Mother and put her life into into the show. She would go the the LA flower market at 4 in the morning and get fresh flowers to decorate the set every week.

They shot a week at Dollywood and there she was told unceremoniously she was fired. No reason and Debbie Mentanopolous was moved up. For three weeks Mark Steines said Christina was on vacation all the while knew she was gone. No explanation was given. Everything she did, coming to the rescue of the show when the host quit without notice and they just replaced her. And Christina handled it so graciously telling fans to continue watching. So no, they just got rid of him too.
