Some people win the genetic lottery, and even then, luck into fame and fortune.
Let's celebrate those with actual biological claims to beauty... who ultimately fucked it all up.
Exhibit A: Brigitte Bardot.

You really do age into the face you deserve. If Bardot didn't say that, then some other clever Frenchwoman did.

Bardot is 83. What do you expect op?

Natural aging is hardly "throwing away" their looks. Someone like Nikki Cox with unneeded facelifts and modifications turning themselves into a grotesque cartoon, that's throwing it away.
And at the next level would be Donatella Versace becoming almost another species.

I saw a woman who looked like "after" in r8 last night at a concert. It was hard not to stare, as if it were an artwork on top of her neck at which she wanted people to stare.

I hope that every one of you cunts who posts on this thread grow into the face you deserve.

I compared Donatella to another species because my mind went blank on the parallel I was trying to make. I was trying to recall "Gollum".

What do these people see when they look in the mirror? It must be something different from the rest of the world.

by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 8, 2018 8:49 AM |
She’s also a racist bimbo. She’s got her “prioritys” set all right.

Liz Taylor, Faye Dunaway, Meg Ryan.

Cher...

So, Bardot is ridiculed for aging naturally, without resorting to plastic surgery....while Meg Ryan, Faye Dunaway etc. are considered monsters for GETTING plastic surgery.
Okay...

Thou Shalt Not Age, R19. The Eleventh DL Commandment.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 8, 2018 9:22 AM |
Amen, r20.
NO one will look good at age 80, even if they live in a cave to avoid the sun, eat all-organic vegan and do five hours of yoga a day (if Julian Assange continues to live hidden away in the Ecuadorian embassy and getting his vegan food delivered by Pam Anderson, he may become exhibit A for this fact).
That said, Bardot has been a major alkie all her adult life, and she hasn't adapted her styling to her increasing age, so that certainly hasn't helped her appearance.

The only person who really comes to mind as deliberatly doing this is longtime heroin addict Nico (Christa Päffgen), who started as a fashion model, then sang with the Velvet Underground and as a solo act. She made some art films for Andy Warhol. Reportedly, she took delight in seeing her cover girl looks disintegrate, and watching her teeth literally rot away.
She was unbalanced, had neo-nazi beliefs, and gave her son heroin.
Eventually she fell off a bike and died.

I'm going to nominate DL fave Lindsay Lohan. She was gorgeous and talented. She didn't so much as throw it away as she did have it stolen from her by her scumbag parents though I guess.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 8, 2018 10:26 AM |
Keanu Reeves was gorgeous, then he seemed to let it all go.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 8, 2018 10:46 AM |
Bacall was still a good looking woman well into her 50s and 60s.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 8, 2018 10:50 AM |
Keanu still looks good for someone in his 50s.. It's called aging, I'd like to see how you'll look at 50.

Jessica Tandy.
She must have had work done but very discreet. She's the best example I can think of for aging well.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 8, 2018 12:41 PM |
Most of these people would look better if they never had any PS.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 8, 2018 1:59 PM |
The only problem I have with bardot is her racism. Looks wise, she is streets ahead of cindy Crawford who now looks like caitlyn jenner thanks to baaad plastic surgery.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 8, 2018 2:17 PM |
Charlotte Rampling. She should have had a quiet word in Jane Fonda's ear about whoever did her face work.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 8, 2018 2:22 PM |
Johnny Depp
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 8, 2018 2:26 PM |
Lauren Bacall, Brigitte Bardot, and Charlotte Rampling simply aged and didn’t go for plastic surgery.
I infer from this that they were able to distinguish the adoration for their youthful beauty from their inner self worth.
Plastic surgery feeds into the fear and disgust at old age that seems to grow deeper roots in our culture with the advent of social media and the ubiquity of images that document appearance.
I wish that more high-profile entertainment figures would embrace who they are now rather than cling to a caricature of what they once were.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 8, 2018 2:33 PM |
On the other hand, a few can cling to it very well.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 8, 2018 2:52 PM |
R37, Bacall did have some facial work done in the 1990's.
