I met Allen Leech when I attended the TIFF screening of "The Imitation Game". He's someone who I'd classify as "cute and cuddly" - a bit pudgy in person but it looked good on him.

At times I do find him oddly attractive but if you've seen pictures of his late father, Roy, you know time won't be kind to him.

Great actor though; especially in comedic roles.

I think most of us would know his dad as Mr. Salt in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

Excellent actor - seen him onstage in THREEPENNY OPERA and YOUNG MARX. And he was the equal of the fab Eva Green on PENNY DREADFUL - that one episode set in the padded room with Green and Kinnear was riveting.

C'mon, enough already! Most of the people posting here are gay men. It does get rather tedious when every fucking straight actor is suspected of being a closeted gay man. You need to give it a rest.

Certainly a better actor than his father. Celebrities rarely have children who are more talented than themselves.

Macbeth at the National received poor reviews but this critic calls Kinnear "the finest Shakespearean of his generation."

I think he'd be much better cast as Elton John than Taron Egerton.

Richard Lester, who directed both Beatles movies, retired from directing after Roy Kinnear was thrown from a horse while they were filming The Three Musketeers in Spain. Kinnear died the next day. Lester was close friends with Kinnear and never directed a feature film again .
