Why are there no Third Amendment lovers?

Don't people care about the government quartering troops in civilian homes?

No, because the federal government doesn't quarter troops anymore. The Third Amendment is obsolete, just like the Second Amendment.

R2 is so clever

by Anonymousreply 5March 29, 2018 11:33 PM

I'm not sure about quartering, but I'd split some fine marine tail...given the opportunity.

by Anonymousreply 6March 29, 2018 11:44 PM

I love Third Amendment taint.

Now I wouldn't want some racist Trump loving good-ole boy forced into my home, but if there is a tender sailer looking for peen and protection he can knock on my door. I'll leave the light on.

Throw em my way. They can all stay with me. Have a circle jerk.

by Anonymousreply 10March 30, 2018 12:28 AM

Ah-ha! OP, you’re trapped in your own web of lies! The federal government doesn't quarter troops anymore, because the Third Amendment prohibits it! Occum’s Razor; strawman argument; earnings, caftans; etc.

OP: "No, because the federal government doesn't quarter troops anymore. The Third Amendment is obsolete, just like the Second Amendment. "

R11, cuntabego, fraushill, McIdiot, etc.

R12 = whirling dervish.

by Anonymousreply 13March 30, 2018 12:52 AM

LOL

I really didn’t know why R2 was posting a picture of a sofa. I clicked the link to expand and see if one was lurking in the doorway - nope.

Then I saw the cap, thinking ‘I guess that’s evidence that one WAS there earlier...’

by Anonymousreply 14March 30, 2018 2:42 AM

R13 = turdling elderfrau.

Actually, whirling dervishes are highly trained dancers who are preserving historic culture, so thanks for the utterly clueless and unintentional compliment, elderfrau.

The irony is that the Founders wanted a Constitutional convention yearly to have the document evolve over time.

by Anonymousreply 16March 30, 2018 2:46 AM

Like that'll ever happen again.

by Anonymousreply 17March 30, 2018 2:47 AM

Surprise ammo?

by Anonymousreply 18March 30, 2018 6:13 PM

I just adore the 3rd Amendment. My Lil Ol Carolina mansion has the charming nickname Little Annapolis.

Highly trained at spinning, maybe, r15. I'd have to see their paso doble or triple time step before I 'd be able to judge their dance ability.
