There's a big difference between being an actor and being a "star." I've worked in the business for many years and it takes work. Having the right agent and publicist etc and having ambition. he's probably an actor who loves acting yet doesn't crave fame. He's gorgeous and in his prime if he really wanted fame he could've hired the best publicist to get his name and face in every publication and "seen" at all the hot spots. It's a business not necessarily an art.

He has never had ANY publicity about a private life, period. I dropped my father off at his old folks’ home today after taking him to a movie and lunch. When I got back to his place, I noticed there were happy hundredth birthday signs up for one of the residents. I started talking about it to one of the support workers there - and said it wouldn’t be long till my dad made that landmark as he’s just turned 96...
