Seeing Eric Nies for the first time on the Real World and getting intense butterflies in my stomach because I'd never seen someone so beautiful was the moment I realized I was a gay.

Given what we now know (and long suspected) about Bruce Weber, it puts that Bear Lake photoshoot in a whole new light.

Like R3, I watched Nies on Real World for "alternative" purposes. And the only thing I remember about him is that he complained that he had numbness in his hands, and when he went to the doctor, he was told his bicep muscles had grown so big they were cutting the circulation... and stop taking the damn steroids!
