Why would RDJ be dragged into this in the first place?

I doubt any cases will be brought to trial, because DAs are all afraid of people like Weinstein - or rather, they're afraid of the Dream Team of expensive lawyers they'll have to face. They don't want to be the next Marcia Clark, the one who lost the high-profile case.

So they won't bring Harvey to trial unless they actually have video of him raping some poor girl, even a taped telephone conversation where he says ".... big deal if I raped you" won't be enough evidence.

^ I could see them staying away from Weinstein but going after Toback (who was never really a big deal except in his own mind)
