'Recent/Recently' is reasonably described as a few days, even a few weeks, ago.

She'd co-hosted the CMA's the first week of November and was not physically injured then. In an interview around the same time, the interviewer had asked if she and her husband were planning to extend their family at any point in the near future. Before answering she'd instinctively lowered her eyes, looked down before answering. (The physiological response for such response is attributed to shame/contrition. There's no hiding such a reaction.)

She'd then answered, "Whatever God has for us in the future." She didn't smile.

There's a reflex (I think it's called the Moro reflex) that makes you put your hands out in front of you as soon as you fall forward. Not only that but there's also a reflex that makes you turn your head to the side when you fall. The thought of someone under the age of 90 breaking their jaw from a FALL is just ridiculous. His PR agent should've said it was a car accident, which is the most common way people break their jaws, aside from being slugged. The consensus on DL was that he got into a brawl with another male over either drugs, or it was a domestic dispute/lover's spat type of situation.

And then there was the time Simon Cowell fell down the stairs and had a concussion, and the story he gave was that he was going downstairs in the middle of the night for a glass of warm milk... Um ok. Most likely it involved LOTS of booze and Valium.

I saw an interview with her by Oprah Winfrey. About 3 or 4 years ago - can't remember. I can't remember much of it except for being somewhat taken aback by Underwood's cold, brittle personality on air. Which made her seem arrogant and entitled on top of her other traits. Oprah's folksy humour was completely lost on Underwood as well and did nothing to soften the hard edges.

I'm the guy who used to work with her. She's not a republican, and she's even a vegan. Ok so the fall supposedly happened in November. She appears on tv afterward with a wrist brace but otherwise seeming fine. Then she posts that the fall resulted in her needing fifty fucking stitches in her face and that when she reappears she is going to look notably different. And she posts the weird mummy with a scarf photo to accompany this warning. then a fan posts a picture of her at the gym looking completely fucking normal what two or three days after she's released this warning that she's now deformed? It's super fucking weird. I don't even know who the hell she is but it's like there are two of her and they're not communicating.
