Her bio of the Queen Mum spilled the beans on the QM's orchestrating the downfall of David (The Prince of Wale who married the American) way before the BBC and other outlets ever admitted it. The Royals succeeded for quite a while in discrediting the book even though she had reams of documents to back up her claims. It is now commonly accepted that her allegations about the Queen Mum's backstabbing are quite accurate. Her allegations about the QM's true parentage are not, however, provable without DNA tests which will never happen. Her nickname was "Cookie" for a reason.
