This sounds like something DLers would hate watch

Only if he's playing Rhoda.

Or even better, Mrs. Penmark.

by Anonymousreply 1December 16, 2017 4:18 AM

Major pussyhound.

Big Bush supporter.

by Anonymousreply 2December 16, 2017 4:18 AM

Nice wig.

by Anonymousreply 3December 16, 2017 4:20 AM

It must be truly horrible for those actors who were flawlessly beautiful in their youth, to look in the mirror, and see the hull of their former looks.

by Anonymousreply 4December 16, 2017 4:20 AM

hm looks like ms lowe is morphing into a tore-up zac efron. what a tragic mess of a midlife crisis. and wtf is with that mall hair?

well, at least zac will know what awaits him in a couple of decades.

by Anonymousreply 5December 16, 2017 4:33 AM

He still looks better than both of his sons

by Anonymousreply 6December 16, 2017 4:36 AM

He’s gone through a couple rounds of jaw and chin implants by now. Anyone else notice ? Looks better there . Looked like a caricature of his former self not long ago . Like Saint Jolie .

by Anonymousreply 7December 16, 2017 4:37 AM

So, he's playing Claude Dagel?

Seriously, this doesn't need to be made. Not at all. How could they improve upon the original?

by Anonymousreply 8December 16, 2017 4:38 AM

He’s a total dilf. I wish he were remaking his sex tape instead.

by Anonymousreply 9December 16, 2017 4:40 AM

I’d rather see a remake of Bad Influence.

by Anonymousreply 10December 16, 2017 4:40 AM

He's playing Leroy, of course.

by Anonymousreply 11December 16, 2017 4:43 AM

I'd write his name on the privy fence!

I worked with him on his skin care line. Rob is a very nice guy.

R3 That is his own hair.

by Anonymousreply 13December 16, 2017 5:24 AM

He's the right age for Monica Breedlove, just needs a little padding.

The original was so good, you can't remake it. Try remaking the Wizard of Oz

by Anonymousreply 15December 16, 2017 5:49 AM

There was a remake. TV 1985. Horrible.

I always think the children are prettier when the parents are in love.

by Anonymousreply 18December 16, 2017 6:46 AM

Yikes! Those kids are fug! Adopted?

by Anonymousreply 19December 16, 2017 5:29 PM

I wouldn't mind getting seeded by Rob Lowe.

by Anonymousreply 20December 16, 2017 6:16 PM

why does rob lowe get a pass with underage girls 16 (on video) and woody doesn't with soon yi being 17? because rob is pretty?

by Anonymousreply 21December 16, 2017 6:18 PM

He's on the verge of overdoing the plastic surgery. He looks good now, but he needs to slow down a bit or he'll start looking weird.

by Anonymousreply 22December 16, 2017 6:53 PM

Remember when he sucked cock in the infamous video? Hot.

by Anonymousreply 23December 16, 2017 6:56 PM

His sons most definitely look like brothers just nothing like him, unfortunately.

by Anonymousreply 24December 16, 2017 7:23 PM

What made the original movie great was the scenery chewing acting and stilted script. It was great for its unique presentation. It will be like the remake of The Stepford Wives. No.

by Anonymousreply 25December 16, 2017 7:32 PM

re: 22 I agree about the surgery . He looks a bit better now, but about a year ago he had some extreme jaw and chin implant and he looked very odd. Not sure if he replaced them or what . Some celebs seem to change out parts out like Mr. Potato head ( Jolie is another example) and those were definitely not fillers. He should leave well enough alone. Age ruggedly , Rob . You’re naturally a gorgeous man .

by Anonymousreply 26December 16, 2017 7:43 PM

"Children can be nasty sometimes"

I see Demi Moore as Hortense. Or maybe Molly Ringwald. Both can play sloppy drunk, I'm guessing

by Anonymousreply 27December 16, 2017 8:04 PM

He is a very handsome man and I would sniff and lick his hole for 3 hours and 17 minutes

by Anonymousreply 28December 16, 2017 8:08 PM

The Bad Seed is a "period piece" set in a world of Freudian jargon and little girls like Rhoda, who for better or worse don't exist now. There are no Monica Breedloves anymore, though I'm starting to resemble her. These type of movies are made for a certain time in history,i.e. The Women,All About Eve. If Rob Lowe can pull it off,I'll be his biggest fan ever.Maybe someone can show him the remake of Stella Dallas.

by Anonymousreply 29December 16, 2017 11:42 PM

If it were to be remade the producers would no doubt decide that it needed to be "dark" and "edgy", and totally miss the charm of the original.

by Anonymousreply 30December 16, 2017 11:56 PM

Once I found out Rob Lowe is a right-winger that was it for me. He is one stop from Hallmark movies career projectory.

by Anonymousreply 31December 17, 2017 12:33 AM

is his hair real? heard he had to evacuate due to the fire.

by Anonymousreply 32December 17, 2017 12:37 AM

LOL R32, I just opened the thread to as the same question. I'm thinking some really good transplantage.

by Anonymousreply 33December 17, 2017 12:50 AM

I did not want to believe Lowe is a Trump supporter.

But HE IS.

r34, I feel bad for him. It must be hard to be mentally retarded.

by Anonymousreply 35December 17, 2017 3:36 AM

His acting is community theater level.

He does look quite a bit better in that pic. Several years ago, when he was on Parks & Rec you could tell he'd had too much plastic surgery and was obviously wearing a wig.

I think Rob's acting is every bit as good as Nancy Kelly's!

by Anonymousreply 38December 17, 2017 4:53 AM

[quote]Try remaking the Wizard of Oz

Even we're not that stupid, so we did a sequel instead.

by Anonymousreply 39December 17, 2017 5:17 AM

Making a TV remake of a classic is the sign of the end of a career

by Anonymousreply 40December 17, 2017 7:58 AM

Next he'll want to do a remake of Snow Whiteat the Academy Awards

by Anonymousreply 41December 17, 2017 8:05 AM

R40, Happy New Year to you -- in JAIL!

by Anonymousreply 42December 18, 2017 3:49 PM

R40 - or the sign of a working actor.

I have no idea if he has had work done. If you look at him in his youth and then then OP's pic - certainly could be natural aging. Aging of a guy with good genes.

by Anonymousreply 43December 18, 2017 5:04 PM

Someone needs to tell Rob that hairstyle is not age appropriate for him. It makes him look clownish.

by Anonymousreply 44December 18, 2017 5:47 PM

OMG!

by Anonymousreply 46February 22, 2018 12:50 AM

I will be so glad when this current silly hairstyle for men goes out of favor. That pompadour with the close cropped sides is clownish.

Who's gonna watch live and compare to the original? Can anyone out-ham Miss Nancy Kelly.

by Anonymousreply 49September 10, 2018 12:12 AM

It's on TONIGHT!

by Anonymousreply 50September 10, 2018 12:21 AM

The play is talky and ponderous. The movie is memorable because it is camp: overwrought melodrama, psychobabble and Patty McCormack's creepy portrayal of the girl.
