You eldergays must’ve been creaming your jordache jeans over this dude.
Nah - eybrows were too weird, and the bottom jaw jutted out too much. I never really found him attractive. Now WAY back in the day, Andrew Ridgley was cute with his little puppy dog eyes.

In that pic, George looks hotter to me.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 30, 2017 3:36 AM |
Yah he was. Gurl could sing, too.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 30, 2017 3:43 AM |
He was gorgeous. Also great voice and could really write. Talent oozing from him, such a shame he died so young and so unhappy.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 30, 2017 3:46 AM |
I wanted him so badly. At the same time, I will admit that all the Greek-American guys I on crushed were mentally ill. So, God bless Michael, and George, and any other sufferers.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 30, 2017 4:04 AM |
And fat r5. Remember he died very fat.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 30, 2017 4:06 AM |
Those were the days. A very hot George Michael. And of course you MTV actually played music videos.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 30, 2017 4:08 AM |
I preferred Freddie Mercury.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 30, 2017 4:12 AM |
I liked him in the blond "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" days, but once he went tough guy (or whatever the Faith look was) I lost interest. The last nail in the coffin was that Caesar haircut in the 90s with the pointy facial hair. We can't be hot forever.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 30, 2017 4:12 AM |
I never found him attractive period. He looked typically gay; in fact I've known quite a few guys over the years with (a) strong resemblance to George.

That’s a lot of hair R11
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 30, 2017 4:19 AM |
I couldn't get enough of his totally hetero masculineness in the early 80s.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 30, 2017 4:21 AM |
Seriously, though, he was a beautiful man. He was like a sexy version of Andy Gibb.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 30, 2017 4:22 AM |
No, not me. My best friend couldn't get enough of him, but he didn't do much for me physically. I enjoyed his music quite a bit, though, and I really regret that he was so tortured emotionally. I wish he could have loved himself more.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 30, 2017 4:23 AM |
It was Guess jeans, not Jordache u whippersnapper cunt !
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 30, 2017 4:37 AM |
He was hot but sometimes came across as asexual, even while singing about sex, probably because he was sort of pretending to be straight/bi/anything-but-gay.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 30, 2017 4:40 AM |
He was so femmy in the Wake Me Up Before you Go Go video. He was never attractive to me. Having said that, I can see how he would be incredibly desirable for guys who like that type.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 30, 2017 4:58 AM |
I remember back in the late 80s with his Faith album pretty much everyone agreed he was a fucking Greek god who graced our mere presence. As I recall even Princess Diana was chasing after him (obviously didn't succeed) and Brooke Shields almost lost her virginity to him (obviously he had other plans).
Can you just imagine how awesome it would have been to sleep with him in his prime? He was more careful back then and didn't cruise Hampstead Heath or bed 500 guys a a month, sadly. I bet that Chinese girl he was dating (beard)was over the moon that she got to have ecstasy inspired sex with him.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 30, 2017 6:39 AM |
His Faith video with tight jeans made me a very horny teenager.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 30, 2017 6:54 AM |
Definitely a gay celebrity crush. There weren't many out public figures in the 1980s but we all knew about George. My gaydar pinged off the meter with his "I'm Your Man" Video from early Wham days. It's a great music video and he hangs all over Andrew Rigley for most of the song. No, straight man does that.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 30, 2017 7:30 AM |
He was another of those "hot for 15 minutes" guys then he faded out fast. He was at his peak between Wham! and his Faith album and was in decline "looks-wise" and talent-wise by the time the album was finished. (Considering Faith was just a reworking of Keeping the Faith by BJ, it's not surprising).
He probably had AIDS at that time and that contributed to his struggle to keep up his looks. Like Prince another closeted AIDS sufferer.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 30, 2017 10:02 AM |
Faith is nothing like Keeping The Faith r24. There is nothing similar in any way.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 30, 2017 10:48 AM |
The Careless Whispers video was probably my favorite look.
His Wham "Wake Me Up" look reminded me of JM J Bullock, except he was no clown.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 30, 2017 10:53 AM |
I most definitely wanked to his speedo pics as a 13 year old gayling.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 30, 2017 10:56 AM |
I was walking along the Old Brompton Road with my then partner in the early 80s. George Michael came around a corner and gave us the biggest knowing look and smile. Until then I hadn’t realised. He was never my type but I could see why others found him attractive. However, I thought it was a little sad when he got work done around the eyes, ending up with that skin slightly too tight look. He needn’t have.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 30, 2017 11:09 AM |
His waxer around the time of Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go did an absolute yoeman's job. He deserved combat pay..
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 30, 2017 11:17 AM |
R27 It was the look I didn’t like at all.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 30, 2017 11:24 AM |
One of his greatest albums is "Older" which was not promoted in the United States. Anyone who says his talent faded after "Faith" is talking out of his ass.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 30, 2017 12:29 PM |
I was incredibly attracted to him around the Faith video time. Sadly (or not at all), he was about the only male I found attractive. Yes, I'm a lesbian.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 30, 2017 12:46 PM |
Rough and tough Georgie, love the song though.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 30, 2017 1:01 PM |
I think he was very good looking, and had a sexy voice & dance moves, but the way he styled himself usually wasn't my cup of tea. I think he looked the best around the mid-late 90s.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 1, 2017 3:19 AM |
From 2004...also still looking pretty good. His vices would catch up with him soon, of course.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | December 1, 2017 3:22 AM |
[R35] I agree that he was most attractive in the early and mid 90s when he was in his 30s. He looked less like an overproduced pop star with the over the top blonde hair, etc. (not to say he wasn't attractive in the 80s - he was, but in a different way).
This photo was taken at his 30th birthday party with his dad and mum - never really looked like his father, other than his complexion, except when he got older and gained weight, but even then he didn't look too much like him. Definitely was his mother's son.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 1, 2017 4:36 AM |
Agreed he looked his best consistently in the early and late 90s, like in the Too Funky and Outside videos. The facial hair during Older was not a great look for him.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | December 1, 2017 5:35 AM |
Notice that of all the times he cruised, of all the men he's bed and supposedly women (yeah right), only the guy in Australia Carlos Arturo Ortiz and Paul Stag went to the papers. He got off lightly. I don't know how Stag was ever his type, he had better taste than that.
Now I'd love a little insight right there.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | December 9, 2017 9:33 AM |
Talking of which, ever noticed George's wrist in the photos in the Carlos Arturo Ortiz newspaper reports? How the press didn't make something of that is beyond me.
Good old George, sexual beast. Makes me laugh his 'lovelies' are so naive about this very out side of him, talk about living in a bubble....

Regardless if you were male or female George Michael had it! He was smoking hot in The Faith video, performing at the Aids Benefit in his green/navy 3 piece suit and when he performed Somebody to Love in tribute to Freddie Mercury.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | April 29, 2018 2:13 PM |
An attractive enough guy but his exaggerated expressions detracted from his looks. He would put on that petulant pose or else grin/mug at the camera. Add tacky styling --- George was a bit weird for me.
